The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.

Juice and biccies probably needed about now.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 12:22

Just checking that there are journalists observing. I can see one so far. Still scrolling.

Chrysanthemum5 · 18/05/2022 12:22

And unable to understand questions

Ameanstreakamilewide · 18/05/2022 12:22

EJ Goodman doesn't miss a thing, does she?

Helleofabore · 18/05/2022 12:23

She is coming across as having a great deal of misplaced confidence in her analytical ability. And to having very little empathy for anyone (she seems to not have any empathy for Stonewall either).

nauticant · 18/05/2022 12:23

MS also now seems to have overwritten in her own mind a sensible meaning of coercion with a wibbly-wobbly thing that suits any immediate argument she wants to make. I wouldn't want a barrister capable of self-brainwashing in this way.

Chrysanthemum5 · 18/05/2022 12:23

EJ is excellent and Martin Reuby is very sharp as well as I assume the panel are all very experienced as this is a huge case to follow all the complexities

ickky · 18/05/2022 12:24

EJ Goodman doesn't miss a thing, does she?

No she is great, especially when she slaps down AH's frequent interruptions.

I think though, this is a very good lesson for us all in the disconnect that some people have.

rueful nod at this...

Clymene · 18/05/2022 12:24

EJ is not going to let MS get away with anything

Helleofabore · 18/05/2022 12:24

EJ Goodman doesn't miss a thing, does she?

She is brilliant. She was a great choice I think . She seems to be able to get to the point. I would assume that she is seen much in her term as a Tribunal judge.

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 18/05/2022 12:26

Thank you so much for these threads! I’m checking in every so often during breaks. They’re riveting.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 12:27

Oh Ben is so so good. Today has been his best day I think.

Thanks.

Bimbomboosh · 18/05/2022 12:28

Placemarking!

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 12:28

Basically saying that Stonewall creates an environment and a culture where an abuse of GC women and lesbians is acceptable.

ickky · 18/05/2022 12:28

Is there ANY evidence of Stonewall denouncing any of the abuse?

OP posts:
Appalonia · 18/05/2022 12:29

Chaos!!

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 12:29

Haha. Pipe down Mr Hochhauser

User237845 · 18/05/2022 12:29

AH talking over the judge! Shock

BIWI · 18/05/2022 12:29

Thank you for the new thread. I think it's safe to say that I am agog, Mr Cooper!

PinkTonic · 18/05/2022 12:29

In denying that someone might reasonably draw on something which happened later as an example to underpin something they said previously, she’s clearly being disingenuous. It’s outrageous.

fuck me shes so rude. Why can they get away with this because they are barristers?

nauticant · 18/05/2022 12:30

MS seems to be on the verge of saying that she's now answered a lot of questions and she'd rather not be asked any more.

EJ doesn't seem to like this kind of approach and has intervened.

chilling19 · 18/05/2022 12:31

Go Ben! The judge's face is a picture!

Ameanstreakamilewide · 18/05/2022 12:31

No, ickky - they never do.

When the open letter was written to them to condemn (general) abuse, they said 'no'.
They didn't ignore the request, their response was actually 'no'.

Fucking mind blowing.
