Are the wife and children really fine?

A man I used to be close friends with recently came out as a transwoman on Facebook. I was a bit surprised as when I knew them in their 20s they were just a typical man. They’re now mid 30s and married to a woman with three children.

Anyway in their post the second sentence was something along the lines of “Don’t worry my wife and children are fine”. I’ve seen it before in stories like this or when someone comes out as gay.
It’s almost like there’s going to be an accusation of homophobia or transphobia if they’re not alright with it. It just doesn’t feel right. If my partner or father came out with something like that it would change so many things in thinking about past relationships etc.

Word.

Samanabanana · 22/03/2022 13:23

@TheOriginalEmu no, that's not what I am saying at all Confused

EndaDay · 22/03/2022 13:24

No woman is fine with it who thought they married Arthur, still loves Arthur but now find themselves with a Martha.

They might be fine with it if they no longer loved Arthur and didn't care if he cut his knob off, painted it Forget-Me_not Blue and hung it from his left eyebrow.

But no woman who stlll loves Arthur and had a future planned with Arthur is fine with it.
@TheOriginalEmu

No, that is bi-sexual. Two Sexes. One has a cock and one doesn't.

Hope that helps you.

WTF is Pansexual?
Well intersex people exist so you are wrong that there are two sexes.
It’s just a way of differentiating between people who only like people who identify as the sex they are born as, and people who are also attracted to trans people and intersex people and nonbinary people. Whether you believe those things exist isn’t the point, it’s not for you. There are lots of people who don’t want to date trans people, so this allows them to know the kind of people who are open to dating them. I don’t see why it matters to you if you aren’t in that category.

DrSbaitso · 22/03/2022 13:27

I can accept that some women would be happy with it. But I'd want to hear it from them. I would imagine those women are probably further into bisexuality and perhaps more "feminine" or gender neutral men in general. I don't think many straight women who like typically masculine men would be OK with it.

And the kids matter too.

Rainbowshit · 22/03/2022 13:27

This is so offensive!! What you term intersex people are either male or female with VSDs that are specific to each sex. They are not other sexes FFS!!

There are only two sexes male and female.

potniatheron · 22/03/2022 13:28

Pansexual means that you are attracted to aaaallllll the genders (cos there are 100s, don't you know) and in current clownworld - sorry - trans rights thinking, it is the only ethically correct sexuality to be.

In clownworld - sorry - trans rights world, gay, bisexual and lesbian are transphobic identities and should not exist. And don't even get me started on the evil straights!

For example, Jazz Jennings says he is pansexual. This is ironic, because Jazz Jennings by his own admission has no sexual feelings at all and is anorgasmic, and has been ever since his mum put him on puberty blockers at age 12.

334bu · 22/03/2022 13:28

Pansexual people just like the thing itself and their attraction isn't altered by which body it comes in.

????

Whatwouldscullydo · 22/03/2022 13:28

People with dsds are still male or female fgs and have requested not to he used in gender/sex debates.

If sex was a spectrum then dsds wouldn't even he dsds would they.

Ok. Well as long as you speak for every woman on earth. 🙄

@TheOriginalEmu

As Pan sexuality doesn't exist, it would be impossible to insult that sexuality. It is perfectly fine to call the term "sloppy shite" because that is what the term is...its very sloppiness is encapsulated by the fact that no-one can define it.

There are 2 sexes and one can be bisexual. You can't be attracted to more than 2 sexes because there are only two.

I understand there are people who like sex with animals and I suppose you could apply Pan to that, although I can think of more appropriate names.

My intersex friend doesn’t indentify as male or female.
EndaDay · 22/03/2022 13:29

Yes I do!

DrSbaitso · 22/03/2022 13:30

Well intersex people exist so you are wrong that there are two sexes.

No they don't, and that's why that word shouldn't be used any more.

People with a difference of sexual development (DSD) exist. They have a variation of development along one sexual pathway or another. They are not "intersex", they are male or female, and the community in general rejects the term for being inaccurate and offensive. As for dragging them into the trans debate as if it's anything to do with them...

EndaDay · 22/03/2022 13:30

They may not identify (WTF) but they are Male or Female.

Phobiaphobic · 22/03/2022 13:30

The first time I started waking up to the damage being wrought by gender ideology was watching that 2019 C4 documentary The Making of Me. It was so painfully obvious the wives and children were utterly distraught, and their euphoric transitioning husbands were oblivious narcissists. There was one really memorable scene where a couple had a dinner party and you could see their friends were just furious at how the trans identified husband was treating his wife.

Whatwouldscullydo · 22/03/2022 13:30

And no ones just attracted to blonde hair. I mean there are other things . Aspects of personality. Exhibited by people who are 1 of 2 sexes. Traits don't exist on their own unless you think pansexuals are locking hair dresser floors cos of all the blonde hair?

DrSbaitso · 22/03/2022 13:31

My intersex friend doesn’t indentify as male or female.

Your friend with a DSD can identify how they like, but they are physically male or female. The DSD, whatever it is, can occur only in one pathway or the other.

334bu · 22/03/2022 13:31

My intersex friend doesn’t indentify as male or female.

They can identify any way they want but their sex will be either male or female. HTH

Phobiaphobic · 22/03/2022 13:32

It is impossible to overstate how much narcissism plays into male transition, especially in middle age.

SamphiretheStickerist · 22/03/2022 13:32

@334bu

*Pansexual people just like the thing itself and their attraction isn't altered by which body it comes in.*

????

I think ??? is the only response.

And I do than DrS for trying to explain it. That's probably the clearest explanation I've seen Smile

PinaColada123456 · 22/03/2022 13:32

@TheOriginalEmu Firstly, intersex is a medical anomaly, and even intersex are one over-arching sex or the other.

Secondly Intersex people have repeatedly asked that they not be used as weapons and manipulated by trans people.

The fact is there are only two sexes. Male, and female. Anything else is science-denier territory.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/03/2022 13:35

It’s just a way of differentiating between people who only like people who identify as the sex they are born as, and people who are also attracted to trans people and intersex people and nonbinary people.

It's completely unnecessary as bisexual already covers everyone who is attracted to people of both sexes however much they want to virtue signal about being accepting of gender identity labels. Intersex is not a gender identity and it's quite offensive to imply that people aren't male or female or "identify as the sex they are born as".

AllThingsServeTheBeam · 22/03/2022 13:38

@TheOriginalEmu you're making yourself look really silly. I'd stop now.

Rainbowshit · 22/03/2022 13:39

My intersex friend doesn’t indentify as male or female.

Identifying is not the same as being.
