I'm not sure I can grasp all this. I'm new to all this only stumbled upon this thread and Matt Walsh by accident, the latter was a video on Facebook that popped up because it was shared by a male friend.
So, people now believe you can change sex, and take on the attributes/lifestyles/biology/life experiences of that opposite sex.
Surely if a white person said I identify as black, they would be absolutely and rightly so lambasted for this.
So if race is a protected characteristic that you must not appropriate why isn't sex?
I accept gender is a "society thing" but I thought we had moved past what is a girl what is a boy e.g girls where pink, no girls wear and do whatever girls want to do. Is this not a step back in to the "what is a girl/woman box". I mean what's the tick boxes now to achieve womanhood 😳
I accept that transgender people exist and wish to live without discrimination or hate, rightly so.
But how did we get to "you can now swap to being a biological woman/female" are they not just a transwoman? And myself born a biological female, a woman? 🤷🏻♀️ Or can anyone be a woman now? And if anyone can be a woman, what is the new definition of woman? And how are women's health care/sports/prisons/spaces effected by this new, for want of a better word free for all managed?
I'm confused. Honestly. I seem to have dissapeard down a rabbit hole of confusion and language I don't understand so may be showing my lack of education around this.
