Stumbled accross this on twitter. Matt Walsh, an American political commentator is on a chat show and confronts transactivist to define a woman and tells him that he is appropriating womanhood.

Then after being told that he has 'traumatised' the activists... He provides this response!!

Wow. He says sh*t straight.... Haha!

I don’t think that Iran and China are necessarily endorsing a model of “trans rights”, though. To my eye, they are expressing a deep homophobia and misogyny, in castrating gay men for not being “manly enough”, because any perceived femininity in men is not to be tolerated.

This seems to be similar to the reason why some parents decide their young children are 'trans'. "It's better to have a straight daughter than a gay son."

808k views, 19k comments the majority agreeing with Walsh.

One of the comments really hit the nail on the head and reminded me of that poster I quoted. There's too many comments there now to find it but it was commenting on the way the guests (other than MW) were speaking , like what they were saying was accepted facts and Matt was some guy that was talking complete nonsense. They said it's complete Propaganda to give the world the impression through main stream media that everyone already agrees with this line of thinking so you feel like no one will agree with you if you speak up. It's so clear to see what the majority of the general public really think though when you read through those comments...........thankfully.

Datun · 24/01/2022 12:55

@AryaStarkWolf

Thank goodness the gender critical movement has remained so tiny and seems to be slowly petering out because there are some monstrous attitudes within it and thankfully more and more people are waking up to that.

Whatever you do don't read the comments section of the Dr Phil video, you're in for a shock if you do ..................

Quite. And none of them are dressing it up to be kind or polite.

It's not even seen as gaslighting anymore. People are just saying nah, it's complete bullshit.

People (myself included) mostly women really tried to "be kind" about this at the start to save feelings and not sound "mean" but that doesn't work, facts and straight talking is the only way

So on one hand we are so powerful and large enough in numbers, we can influence the likes of Matt Walsh and on the other hand, WE are supposedly the monsters and and a very small group

More that so few people agree that the gender critical movement is reduced to cheering on misogynist grifters like Walsh to get the message out.

Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Bless. That's what comes of living in an echo chamber. You don't know what's going on in the real world. Much to labours shock when Brexit came about. But if you think that's all the GC movement do then you carry on and believe that. Grin It's probably more helpful that you do.

We're so irrelevant that you feel the need to spend your entire life here telling us that we're wrong.
ScreamingMeMe · 24/01/2022 13:43

Desperate, Desperate stuff, Bb. You wouldn't be shitting yourself and trying to shut us up if you really believed that.

And believing in biological differences between men and women and thinking gender ideology isn't confined to "the GC movement", as proven by this very thread yourr posting in Hmm

ScreamingMeMe · 24/01/2022 13:44
  • thinking gender ideology is nonsense

I don't think that anyone on this thread is under any illusions that Matt Walsh is getting the 'gender critical' message out. Matt Walsh is getting Matt Walsh's message out.

The fact you continue to push this as an alliance instead of what it is, a briefly adjacent view, is YOUR agenda.

Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I might continue to point out crossed the line in monstering women who disagree with you last night. It is you who continues with that agenda as well. Your dramatic hyperbole is aimed at demonising women who disagree with you.

It seems again that this is another projection. Who is scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for leverage to shut women up?

RVN123 · 24/01/2022 13:48

Walsh is a misogynist?

TRAs are NOTHING but misogynist. They fucking HATE women. They don't give a shit about women's rights and protections. They are the biggest women bashers and women haters there are - as are many TWs.
They hate women and yet covet womanhood.

PurgatoryOfPotholes · 24/01/2022 13:52
  1. Why are you bothering to post here then? There are many different schools of thought out there, with website fora that have grown up to discuss them. I think various forms of anarchist theory are bullshit, but I don't bother posting on their forums to say so because I think they're irrelevant.

  2. you must surely know we have noted the people advocating for your mindset. Sometimes it seems that as soon as a man expresses support for mixed-sex toilets, it turns out he has vile imagery of children being sexually abused on the laptop.

WeeBisom · 24/01/2022 13:57

It never fails to amuse me when posters come on here saying that the view that…er… women are adult human females is “fringe” and “marginal”, but the postmodern queer theory that woman is a gender identity that has no content other than a propensity to self identity as a woman is, in fact, the mainstream, popular and historic view of what a woman is. It’s hilarious. Even flat earthers don’t say their views are mainstream… they know they are niche!

Helleofabore · 24/01/2022 13:59

Shall we just dump all the prominent trans people’s misogynistic statements here?

I mean certainly not all prominent trans people have such hateful beliefs, but only a fool would not be fully cognisant of some of these people hating females.

Shall we do it? It would fill the thread though and be utterly pointless.

PurgatoryOfPotholes · 24/01/2022 13:59

Any thoughts on the serial rapist in Loudoun county, and the misogyny that led to the rapist being sent to a second school while awaiting trial for the first rape committed?

Sophoclesthefox · 24/01/2022 14:02

The fact you continue to push this as an alliance instead of what it is, a briefly adjacent view, is YOUR agenda

Yup.

No one here is on Matt Walsh’s Christmas card list, of that you can be assured, Barley. This “close alliance” has been manufactured in your head, and if you and a couple of others hadn’t been here arguing the toss for how DESPERATELY IRRELEVANT all of this is for hundreds of posts, this thread would have dropped off the front page days ago.

DialSquare · 24/01/2022 14:11

Maybe barley can answer Matt's question?

RVN123 · 24/01/2022 14:15

@DialSquare

Maybe barley can answer Matt's question?
It will never happen. Because once that question is answered truthfully, the whole shaky house of cards comes tumbling down.
Helleofabore · 24/01/2022 14:16

I distinctly remember a previous poster who disappeared last year though who always seemed to be focused on that same agenda. I remember some of those posts and they had the same over egged 'alliance' with the intention of monstering women who said no to them.

So, obviously barely you are not the only activist with this intention ......

I remember that poster too. Wonder what happened to them.
DialSquare · 24/01/2022 14:23

Oh I'm not expecting an answer RVN123. I was just wondering out loud. Maybe barley will surprise us though.

WhyAreLiarsAllowedHere · 24/01/2022 14:26

I wonder why no addresses the fact people are lying to children.

Telling children they can change their sex is a lie.

DialSquare · 24/01/2022 14:27

I asked you yesterday barley if you believed that the earth is flat. I didn't receive a response so will elaborate on this question.
Matt Walsh does not believe the earth is flat and has received flack from flat earthers over this. If you also do not believe the earth is flat, will you now become a flat earther so as not to "get in bed with" Matt?
