Rapes committed by women - JKR got me thinking

JKR just tweeted again. I agree wholeheartedly with her views, but some of the responses have got me thinking.

Why does it matter if crime stats say women rape?

(I promise I'm not trolling here. In fact, I'm hoping for some startlingly clear objective responses to fuel my arguments.)

For me, I find it downright hateful, after all the violence and hate directed towards women by men, that stats will now say 'women are doing it to women'. That makes me so damn angry. But is feeling offended by this, on principle, enough?

On crime stats and recording... Seth Abramson (I know) on Twitter commented that the fact the perpetrator has a penis will come up in the court case. So the court will know they are not biologically female.

Also, if we say a woman raped another, doesn't that also immediately tell us the rapist was transgender? (The only group who identify as women but are also bepenised).

How does a biological women rape another? Because I've seen claims on Twitter that some biological women have been found guilty of rape. Is this a lie?

I'm trying to tease my thoughts out. Only just starting to comment about the gender identity consequences for women to friends etc, and just want to be super clear when I say anything, and not to slip into emotional anger (which happens a lot for me).

Date of review was Oct 13. In an Irish newspaper.

'Today, October 12th, Gript Media was the latest outlet to receive a threatening letter from Tusla, the child and family agency, demanding that we remove all coverage of Ms. Kardashian’s story, on the grounds that publication of the story breaches an order of the high court issued in July 2020.'

So the notice to pull all info sent from tusla to multiple sites was issued day before bk court appt.

Oct 2020 remanded continuing custody.

(Really hard to find this stuff. 2 pieces say this that's all. Given so much interest seems odd to me).

So what happened Oct 20 to now...

Reading again you've said twice BK out - one said released Limerick, other just out on bail iirc.

I had a look around and an 99% sure I am mistaken on being out on bail.
Aparently BK was already on bail for priors when arrested in Sep.

The prison service report if thats an annual report would be about 2020.
The report would also only be about complaints problems or issues. So how was it worded 2 in jail or met 2 who had complaints?

Why can there not be a simple rule that says you face trial and any subsequent imprisonment in the gender you presented as at the time of your offence? That would remove the incentive for the sudden realisation of their true selves that seems to come upon a lot of these male rapists.

Sorry to come back to this so late. But yes, increasingly so.

FOIs don't always apply, many funding pots are private. The Lottery will respond to FOI, but they tell you why you have been refused, in a mealy mouthed way. We have been specifically 'warned' by them and others, about our lack of diversity for about 3 years now. Our LA has fallen foul of it but, so far, have managed to defend their 'local support for local issues' stance, to quite a large extent.

We're having another meeting after New Year to discuss the benefits of closer affiliations between us (there are a large handful of different charities working under a loose administrative umbrella - for cheap labour like me ). But it isn't that simple as some of those closer affiliations could lose us our client confidence. A tightrope we needn't walk if diversity didn't now increasingly mean gender ideology.

What gender is presented when the human with penis forces their penis into a child/ woman/ man?

How do we as a community define "presented"?

At the moment it's an internal feeling of one sex that they feel like the opposite sex. I can feel like I have wings, I have been on a plane, I have been on a swing. How can I not know what it is to have wings, be able to flap my wings and fly off to somewhere?

If "presented" is physical things how do we do draw the line.

BK has a GRC because Ireland has no checks at all. No checks of medical condition, no check of criminal history.

The opinion of the specialists in the field was that BK met another child who had GD and decided label was advantageous to achieving desired outcomes.

Ireland has women who committed very violent crimes but most women are in prison for not paying fines. Some may not pay on principle but most will not pay due to poverty.

The real problem in Ireland will be if/when the prison system have to deal with a female who is legally male convicted of a crime which can't have a suspended sentence. It will not be like Scotland the Irish Prison system can't house a legal male in the Women's Prison.
In that instance the Judge has a serious moral dilemma but must still follow the law and sentence prison time.

He looks like a man, his friends know him as a man, he has never expressed any desire to be a woman.

At his trial he turns up in a wig and wants to be called Josephine.

The system says no, you were a man when you carried out the offence and we will not acknowledge this sudden change of heart nor require your victim to use female pronouns.

But how would that work? It's not necessary to dress "like a woman" nowadays. Joe can just say "I always felt like a woman inside".

What if Joe had already identified as a woman to be a girl guides leader or a school teacher and go on camps or a gymnastics coach? They’d pass your test, still be a male pedophile, but go to a women’s prison.
