Why is the cisgender flag grey?

Who cares? If someone wants to identify as cisgender with a grey flag they are welcome to. Let the rest of us just get on with life, gender identity flags not needed.

But to be cisgender you have to believe in gender identities. I am definitely not cisgender, I do not feel that I have an inner identity that matches the gendered expectations of women.

I doubt any feminists are cisgender. By stonewall's definition I would be trans non-binary.

Grey is the colour you always get if you mix all the old paint in your garage together. Try mixing paints of the colour of all the other flags together and it will turn out grey. It looks very nice if you adorn it with tasteful touches of purple,green and white.

Grey goes well with yellow, the colour of sunshine.

It's all self invented and promulgated via social media. It's not as if there's an international flag authority certifying these things as internationally agreed and recognised with a specific meaning.

It's all so pathetic and navel-gazing. Flags. Awareness. Days of remembrance. Frankly I'm bored of it. I'm bisexual but disassociated myself with the LGBTQ+ movement. I've better things to spend time and energy on.

Supposedly that was accidental, because the American suffragettes had different colours and they didn't know about the British one.

Never needed a flag before and don't need one now. I am a woman, end of really.

We've got the proper purple, white and green flag if we want one. No idea who'd want the 'cisgender flag'. I guess it's grey because it's not really a thing.
