There isn't even, or very little, refutation of what the GMC was saying Harrop did. It's just ad homs directed at the complainants!

Hmmm, I would imagine the tribunal would be interested in that. Even if he's not behind it you would expect him to publicly request it be stopped - otherwise utterly could call the tribunal into disrepute (as well as the profession!).

As others have mentioned , 'tribunaltruth' is just an account interested in ad hom attacks on the complainants nothing much about the tribunal and its workings , indeed much of the tribunals final deliberations were in private

Harrops hearing is finished so any complaints would have be in the form of new complaints to the GMC but as it isn't an account identifying itself as Harrop, that isn't straightforward even though its used verifiable details to link it back to known associates

Surely the MPTS should take out an injunction against this? It brings the tribunal system in to disrepute and is designed to prevent people raising further complaints against the MPTS. It is contempt, if not legally certainly in reality.

I agree it's making a nonsense of the tribunal, it's actively trying to discourage and intimidate women reporting proven, serious offenses that the outcome proved they were wholly justified in reporting, and Harrop is out of his mind allowing himself to be associated with this while on suspension. These idiots are going to get him struck off.

The account may not be Harrop however it does link to him as it makes reference to phone calls and emails made to the GMC by complainants.

This information would only have been made available to Harrop and it’s more evidence of his sharing of information with third parties outside of his legal team for the purposes of harassment.

As was probably said upthread Witness Statements for the purpose of a tribunal are NOT public documents and not supposed to be shared with anyone outside of the doctor’s legal team.

If a member of the public requested the tribumal bundle they would be refused. Tribunals aren’t subject to civil procedure rules.

Regardless of who it links to and their blame, surely Twitter is also at fault here? I presume someone has reported the account? (I am not on twitter) so twitter can't deny knowing?

I'm really not sure why the police rush around like headless chickens to arrest women for.... well, we're not sure what really, but any hint of Women Saying Stuff and it's get the handcuffs out!

This? You know, actual real harassment and using tribunal process to harass and intimidate the victims of the behaviour the defendent is being punished for? Really quite severely? And where's the law?

Gawd. We keep being told biology isn't a thing but possession of ovaries seems to have a really weird effect on equality of access to law and justice, doesn't it?

With Twitter you're dealing with algorithms in general, it's difficult to understand their approach most of the time

@BoreOfWhabylon basically the Andrew Neil picture is one of him in his slightly younger days, wearing a vest and baseball cap, with his arm around a similarly attired young black woman. It's become a running joke on the Private Eye letters page, allegedly because he had a bit of a sense of humour failure when they first printed it, so readers write in with increasingly spurious reasons to get them to print it again. That's how lots of these Twitter accounts make me feel - like recoiling. Deeply disturbed and disturbing people, abusing and gaming the system(s) set up to safeguard others. Yuck.
