Adrian Harrop’s barrister is MrGiles Powell(GP) saying "his actions haven't been that serious to warrant a suspension. There is no patient safety issue as this is only about SM events in 2018-19 (one event in 2020)"

I think it's more than that. They are a sacred caste that is accustomed to operating in a culture of immunity and impunity.

I don’t want to link to the account, but it’s posting screenshots of unredacted statements naming witnesses, including witnesses whose testimony wasn’t used.

It’s spent the past week undermining and attacking all the witnesses involved in the case.

It’s strongly linked to Dr Harrop’s golfing pal.

Ugh. Their hatred of women overrides absolutely everything else, doesn't it.

Harrop has to show remorse, or whatever the legal term is. I imagine that his reaction to the publicising of all the witness statement he's been involved with at his own tribunal, might be noted!

The panel will also wonder where the hell these people got them.

Honestly, with friends like those, who bloody needs enemies.

That needs reporting everywhere - Twitter, the Police, the GMC.

I presume the GMC can take him back to tribunal while he is suspended to seek erasure for new actions?

Purely childish lashing out to punish those who dared to draw GMC's attention to actions serious enough to cause this verdict.

The problem wasn't that the GP did it. The problem was that women talked about it. Punish them that we don't like the result!

You and I might strongly suspect that this is true and accept that the difficulty lies in proving an AH 'mate' is doing this.

I wouldn't be too startled if there's a dawning realisation that this is not a good look and then it will be denounced as a false flag operation.

My God. My mind is boggling at the lack of morality of someone publishing unredacted witness statements, and the arrogance of doing it while Harrop is in a room with the panel deciding on sanctions.

Does it break the law to do that? Probably not. But someone is the source of the leak and they'll be in trouble if caught.

I hope that the person ( and I think we all have an inkling) intimidating and threatening witnesses on twitter is caught, however I don't think they will hesitate to throw Mr Harrop under the bus now he's tainted and of no use to them.

Yeah...no. That's really not what happened at all - if it was, there would be no tribunal right now.

I'm starting to think laws are going to have to be created, considering that basic morality, professional standards or a capacity for any kind of restraint just don't seem to be within some people's competence any more.

I'd also think the tribunal will need to give thought to who these mates are, and whether persisting in association like this and enabling people to do things like this in his name by providing them with access to materials for a legal process is at all compatible with this magically reformed 'insight'. I don't think the man on the clapham omnibus would think so.

There has to be come back for this. This is flat out proving that any woman who shared experience of offenses can be opened up to abuse, harassment and doxxing as punishment even if the offender's charges are proven.

It might as well be spread out to all women: the result of coming forward will be worse for you than just enduring male mistreatment quietly. And your justice system will be fine with this.

tbh, this is why I understand the preference falsification aspect of GC Coming Out Day but I also recognise why TRAs are calling it GC Doxxing Day.

I cannot imagine it is Harrop himself.

I cannot imagine that his legal rep GP is quite that stupid.

So it is someone who has had these confidential materials shared by one of these two people to be able to do this, and it is being done with the intent and purpose of punishing witnesses. And both Harrop and GP are bound by professional standards.

This really does seem like a police matter.
