In my old flat I had not even the little glass ones but just fusewire! You bought a length for the right current, cut a bit off, took the old bit out and fitted the new one in!

I would have done it myself but female so always had to get a MAN in often a neighbour. I got them to do it by batting eyelashes, twirling hair, busting into tears. And said thanks with chocolate, prosecco and loads of smelly candles.

(I have nothing against those things but you gotta love stereotypes!).

Thanks to the posters who had a go at answering my question - I am still awed by what people know about the detail. I only got as far as GCSE biology and it all seemed pretty straightforward then!

Or maybe we're not mammals after all.. I'd have thought it would have been in the news a lot when discovered but must have missed it.

Turns out humans can change sex or maybe they can't. That our sex is irrelevant to pretty much everything. Females can have penises.. Which are just a bit of skin so why would women/ girls not want them around when disrobing? Because victim complex prudes. Also homosexual has never meant same sex attracted and woman has never been related to sex but to something that no one can see and it's indefinable, means whatever an individual wants it to mean.

Yes it's complicated and not what everyone thought forever. But there you are. Science and hormone washes and whatnot mean it's definitely a fact. And replacing the definition of the word woman from adult human female to impossible to define is a big step forward.

So what do you specifically say to someone who says that its much more complicated than there being only two sexes. I am not a biologist and am having the GC position questioned by someone saying this. And citing Judith Butler, but I`m not going there!

Tbh I think I'd be incline to just say 'bollocks....and ovaries.' in as withering tones as possible. They may think they sound clever, but they are simply being exceptionally stupid.
