Surprising. I wouldn't think GC's would resort to that. It's normally the woke who resort to violence and vandalism. Vandalism/criminal damage is not okay, and doing that to a grave/memorial is completely wrong.

Let's hope they find the people responsible and regardless of their politics, they should go through the criminal justice system.

I've never known any GC people to call for special compensation under the law for committing crimes so I'm a little confused by some of the comments.

Absolutely disgusting. At least the GCs are showing their true colours! No doubt some of those here will claim it is false flag attack.

Are the TRAs vandalising the Vancouver women's refuge showing the "true colours" of all trans activists? Or the oh so kind "die in a grease fire", "choke on my lady dick" tweets, is that the true message of the trans movement? I wouldn't say so. I'd say that was indicative of the intense misogyny of the individuals who did it and that it was detrimental to any transgender individual, as well as women.

I've noticed a lot more young people taking a gender critical stance lately, used to be just us oldies. I guess this is one of the outcomes of that, TRAs will be getting a dose of their own medicine. Not that I approve, its just unlikely that its older women!

The situation in Spain has been volatile and nasty for a while. I remember the effigy of Carmen Calvo. That must have been terrifying for her and for other women. Imagine having to walk past that.

It’s completely unacceptable to vandalise a memorial, though. Shame on the protesters who did that.

So you don't have an answer as to why you think that this incident- as abhorrent as I agree it is- is reflective of all gender critical feminists, but that every threat made against women in the name of trans activism is in no way reflective of the attitudes of trans people and trans allies?

@DimidDavilby Im sure you agree with the rule of law and therefore understand that unless they have the responsible parties in custody, all we can say at this stage is that criminal damage/vandalism has occurred, it has gender critical overtones and that you support the police in their investigation.

If it turns out that it is a gender critical group that has done this, I for one (and many others on this board I'd imagine) will join will you to condemn the individuals who have committed criminal acts, particularly against a memorial. As Im sure you do when we see criminal acts committed by gender activists.
