My interest in Eddie Izzard is limited, but I have found it interesting how many threads about him have been zapped. Is there a reason for this?

It would be nice if someone from MNHQ could clarify exactly what we can and cannot discuss about Izzard. This is a person who is trying to become an elected Member of Parliament, which would mean representing a constituency of which half are female, and having a say in votes in the House of Commons which affect everyone. In my view scrutinising personal qualities of such candidates are essential.

I presume the Nazis would have considered a transvestite to be in the same category as a homosexual, so yes, he probably would have been murdered if caught. So I don't think he's wrong even if he expresses it rather poorly.

I can't understand the 'boy mode /girl mode' thing. Obviously it's easy to put on a skirt and lippy but that's got nothing to do with being a girl. So does Eddie give away 15% of Eddie's historical income, reduce his worth to Eddie's looks and taught Eddie to put everyone else's needs ahead of his own when Eddie is in girl mode and then changed all of that back when in boy mode? What does Eddie think being a girl is all about?
