If and when you see threads plopped into FWR, especially a curious repeat of well worn topics, maybe check for poster history before engaging. AS is your friend.

There are a number of posts/posters/threads that are reproduced on Twitter or Facebook to foment controversy using screen shots & flagging to either MNHQ to have threads or posters deleted.. Sometimes, it’s used to approach commissioning editors with ideas for articles. It’s a tiresome tactic that we always have community disruptor posters who themselves post the comments that they then highlight elsewhere as purported evidence of racism, religious intolerance, anti-men sentiments, or transphobia.

This thread will be taking a leisurely stroll through the foothills of community disruption, noting the behaviour of wildlife and interesting flora and fauna en route.

To keep warm in wellies I wear two pairs of socks, the top pair are proper knee length thick walking socks. I found it very cosy during the cold weather. Warm dry feet on a long winter walk are such a blessing!

They're going after MN because of thr JR thread? I don't think that will make them look particularly good.

I suppose it's a misguided attempt to deflect attention but liable to result in visitors coming to have a look.

Unlike the physical Derbyshire, we're more than happy for incomers to trudge our paths.

I took a look at the earliest Bunbury PSA threads - it's interesting to see this evolve with experience. There are various links to research in the opening posts and that's probably the first time Fermats posted her 'how to handle a derailer' advice.

What I'd really like to be doing right now is to be up a hill with a nice snack. For some reason I'm craving malt loaf and don't have any.

Felicity Cloake's recipe for malt loaf is good and allows you to add in additional flavours such as zest or spices - she offers a good discussion whether or not anyone is interested in baking it:

Wednesday has become more worthwhile.

You weirdos wearing wellies for Hill walks. Have ye no heard of waterproof boots? Wellies are cold and spectacularly unsupportive and pull off in the mud.
And now I quite fancy a hill walk, if there was a shop selling soreen at the very top i would've gone already.
And now I want malt loaf but DP has the car and I cba walking for some.
