Looks like they're gunning for gay men now. Anything other than complete agreement is no good.

Readers here will be used to this sort of insanity:

I wonder if it will wake up those who have not seen it before?

I do hope they follow the command to

"hand over the next issue to trans + non binary writers, photographers, performers + promoters entirely..."

I saw several comments agreeing that the next issue should be handed over to trans writers, and can't help thinking it is an excellent idea.

Perhaps the Teen Vogue writers who wax lyrical over anal sex and the joys of slurping lesbian girl cock (they say it tastes nicer and has a softer mouthfeel compared to rough, nasty cisdick) could help the guest writing transmen to put together some equally enlightening instructions for the readers of Boyz magazine?

I do think it is about time that their readership was introduced to the new normal, with a beautifully illustrated, step by step guide, on how to best service the magnificent masculine vulva? Some of them may well be the kind of sad genital fetishists who have been exclusive in their dating practices for various reasons, and they will need plenty of education before they see the error of their ways.

Lesbians have benefited from this kindly guidance for many years, it's only fair that our our gay brothers get to see their own media transformed.

Remember lads, if you feel uncomfortable --hide it well to avoid upsetting the vulnerable, oppressed and scared Trans community.

Who will destroy you

This has to be tactical, if they concede the next target is Straight Men surely?

Defaultname · 27/11/2020 00:50

Is the mons veneris the hill that Boyzzz magazine will die on?

Trans issues don't affect gay men as much as women though do they? It's not men who are having their words manipulated or male specific services altered to accommodate females. Gay men are not being told to suck "manclit". Most transmen are same sex attracted. Most transwomen are attracted to women. Gay men can afford to "be kind". There has never been the support for lesbians from gay men and many of them are extremely misogynistic..

NecessaryScene1 · 27/11/2020 06:07

The solidarity was truly heartwarming, organic and humane.

I can imagine lynch mobs describing themselves like that, and it would be just as accurate.

I'm sure it does feel good to those in the group though.

funded by religious zealots and various right-wing horrors.

I keep offering to receive money from the above to help my views, but not a penny from anyone so far.

Who exactly is funding the LGB Alliance?

What an absolutely brilliant idea.

SophocIestheFox · 27/11/2020 06:48

If it’s not acceptable for LGB to have organisations that only represent them, and not the T, then why is it acceptable to have organisations (Mermaids, GIRES etc) that only represent the T and not the LGB? If the former is transphobic, how is the latter not homophobic? On what grounds can the separate provision be justified only for one sub group of an otherwise indivisible group, and utterly prohibited for another?

That apology made me very uncomfortable. And it still wasn’t enough? Troubling.

BaronessWrongCrowd · 27/11/2020 06:58

The LGB Alliance is transphobic, homophobic and funded by religious zealots and various right-wing horrors. The do nothing to represent the interests of L, G or B people and only attack trans people at every opportunity.

Do you have any evidence to back this statement up? Pretty sure your statement is libellous.

Kit19 · 27/11/2020 07:16

I don’t know about the ppl who work at boys magazine but if I’d been publicly humiliated & bullied like that, I might publicly kowtow & bow the knee but instead I’d be fucking furious

Do they never stop to think that ppl youve bullied into submission are not actually on your side?

Duckwit · 27/11/2020 07:39

Had the BEST day on Twitter today!

Yes, I bet you did....

SunsetBeetch · 27/11/2020 07:42

Who is Rob Holley? Or rather, who does he think he is?

CaraDuneRedux · 27/11/2020 07:49

@dyslek You sound like a 11yo who's just won a football match and is telling mum how great it all is as she is cooking your dinner. Cute.

It's very "Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, age 13 3/4", isn't it? Grin

Winesalot · 27/11/2020 07:54

I think it doesn’t matter to the bullies if the victims of bullying are only superficially performing adherence to the demands. In this time of social media, that superficiality is usually deemed enough for stats, for the reporting of support.

It is hugely interesting to hear a male perspective on the ‘solidarity’ of the LGB because I remember many conversations I have had with a friend who was a foundation member of a very early group (formed late 70s) that is very large today.

Those conversations were always about the constant battles for women to actually get any support from the gay men. And it was still very much evident even in the 2000s when she and many of her lesbian friends left. Because the support was always for the males and females had to fight to be included. After watching some of the males who have prominent positions in that group that I came across socially at industry events, the misogyny was very easy to see.

I guess if you have always been part of the group that gained the most benefit of the group’s efforts, you might not even notice the inequity in those benefits.

Still waiting for the evidence of the financial backing claims by David Paisley. It does seem that some people have low bars for evidence when it fits their narrow perspective.

Please don’t spread misinformation. How about posting the evidence that this group is funded by right wing and /or religious zealots instead?

I agree. No half-hearted responses. They should dive right in (excuse the pun) with these kinds of articles to demonstrate their trans solidarity. I predict a sharp drop in readership numbers, but that's the price of inclusivity surely.

SunsetBeetch · 27/11/2020 08:06

Imagine saying you've had a great day on the hellsite that is twitter without a hint of irony.

For my next trick, I will accidentally glue a model aeroplane to my nose.

And while they have the guest editorial team, the entire language will be inclusive. So the title might be ‘immature ejaculators’. The choice of descriptor of course matches the topic, but prostate owners, penis people and ejaculate-non-achievers should be interesting reading.

Of course, menstruation awareness topics should be discussed for the males who are bleeders.

That is equitable treatment to what women have faced surely.

Ikr? They don't seem to realise that "Ha ha ha we bullied someone else into submission!" is NOT a good look.
