I'm also sad you felt you had to reveal so much about yourself and I hope your braced for the misogynistic way those misogynists will twist your words and your most painful experiences and use them against you. But each time they do this, they allow the rest of the world to see them for who they truly are: Men's Rights Activists using trans people as a trojan horse.

So steel your resolve once more, and take comfort from those who clearly think the world of you.

I’ve never read Harry Potter or even seen the films (I’m a Worst Witch kind of girl) but everything JK has said about women’s rights and the trans movement has been spot on.

I also cried reading her statement, there’s just something about strong, intelligent, thoughtful women that make my well up with pride.
