She speaks for me. She has laid out very thought and concern that I have had for the last 5 years. It’s like she read my mind, unscrambled it all and made it make sense.
I feel understood and not alone.

By revealing her history, she has made it very difficult for most moderates (particularly those who haven’t thought deeply about the issue) to denounce her for this piece. How depressing that it is necessary though.

I shared it on FB, but didn't say anything about it. My cousin (a lesbian) has immediately commented what a horrible person JK is and how she couldn't finish reading it.
