Transphobic attitudes contradict the good feminism does everyday

Why is there such a large portion of the feminist movement so against trans culture. Trans people have been some of the biggest advocates for supporting allegedly oppressed groups. Why is it suddenly okay to for feminists (a formally oppressed group) to oppress trans people (currently oppressed group) why?

You have your wires crossed. Trans activists are enormously oppressing women. Women are strong, and will fight their oppression, that’s what you see.
P.s. I struggle to see how trans are even mildly oppressed.

JillAndJack1, some trans people have a pretty awful time, but then so do a lot of women. And simply by dint of percentage of the population, a lot more women than trans people are oppressed worldwide. Historically, so vastly many more that it is not possible to compute the figures, even if we invent transwomen going back for centuries.

I have never heard of a transwomen who had suffered infant female genital mutilation, for example. And I don't suppose all that many transmen have either. Nor have any transanythings before the past say hundred years and be generous suffered any oppression at all just for being transpeople, whereas women have been being oppressed because of their sex since prehistory. Nor have I come across any transperson footbinding, though that might have existed I suppose.

Then there are the women/girls who never made it to being born: aborted female foetuses.

(And I'm totally in favour of women's right to choose termination, but we have to accept that abortion is/can be used as a deliberate way of getting rid of potential women - there are UN figures somewhere ...)

@TheMostBeautifulDogInTheWorld

I've used molasses when making marmalade - the bitterness works really well, and the colour comes out wonderfully dark.

My list is getting longer. I have gained the Corona 19 lbs.

Could you make chocolate mousse and put that in top of Malteser base?
My ex used to do Crunchies crushed up and added to whipped cream, with a dash of whiskey, he thought it was cheesecake....bless.

I have gained the Corona 19 lbs.

And the Corona 19 recipes also! Thanks, everyone.

Far be it from me to criticize someone for trying, bless and all, but did it not occur to him that a cheesecake might involve cheese?

The truth is that nobody really cares how anyone 'identifies' themselves; how they dress; what name they choose.......

The reality, though, is one cannot change sex, and that women need and want access to their single sex spaces, services and sports. That's about it, really. It's not a question of hatred or oppression. It is a case of biological, actual, material, lived reality.

Throwing a huge toddler tantrum is not going to change those facts.
The world does not revolve around individual feelings.

Donald Trump? He's the very definition of narcissistic personality disorder.......so he would. Narcissists require constant adulation and validation of their feelings.

... and it never enough.

These recipes, on the other hand.
