How is this anything other than a men's rights movement?

They just really really really really really do not want to accept the idea of sex having any biological basis, do they? Men and women have different immune responses & pathology with respect to a range of diseases (flu, MS, heart disease). No-one knows exactly why for each specific illness but it is based in physical differences in male/female biology.

But sure keep on denying reality and pretending that all differences between male and female health outcomes are related to some imaginary social preferences and behavioral choices. (Also just love the idea that women aren’t frontline medical workers when most graduates from medical school are now female and nurses are dying all over the place because of coronavirus- what a stupid person JF is).

Not pulling their weight? This statement doesn’t deserve the energy required to respond really, but bearing mind this disease kills the sick/elderly by a country mile... I can’t imagine many of them are routinely pulling any sort of weight (or intubating many people).

In fact research shows that it’s women who usually carry on with a disproportionate amount of housework/caring responsibility even beyond retirement or alongside chronic illness/cancer treatment. They just tend not to make a song and dance about it.

Oh dear, somebody isn’t getting enough attention. So many of those NHS staff, carers and supermarket workers are women, and they’re being applauded in the streets, and poor Fae is feeling the injury.

Of course the different death rate has nothing to do with women not 'pulling their weight '. Most nurses are women. And there's nothing to suggest more men than women are infected - just that the outcome can be more serious for them.

I think what JF means is that not enough women are dying. JF likes stories where women die, especially ones in which they are raped, tortured and mutilated. JF has even been to court to defend the right of men to write such stories, about a very famous all female pop group in this specific case I believe.

The one thing I miss about Twitter is the insight into other people's psyche. What a fascinating person. my theory is they need to externise their hatred / confusion / disappointment onto nameless 'others' to avoid facing whats really going on inside.
