teawamutu · 16/10/2019 07:43

Yes, congratulations. Hope you get your actual medal one day, Kirsten.

ForeverFaff · 16/10/2019 07:45

Congratulations on your achievements, to the women!
And to Rachel McKinnon, I hope your 'victory' feels as hollow and worthless as we all know it to be.

SarahConnorFem · 16/10/2019 07:53

Yep well done those WOMEN!

MangoesAreMyFavourite · 16/10/2019 08:03

Was this billed as a Womens race or mixed sex?

SarahTancredi · 16/10/2019 08:04

Well done dawn naomi and Kirsten!!

Beansandcoffee · 16/10/2019 08:05

It is a women’s race.

frazzled1 · 16/10/2019 08:10

It should be a women's race for actual women. Not fair to have an XY competitor.

It was listed as the "Female 35-39". FEMALE. FFS.

We should collect the prize money and get a medal for Kirsten.

RM ain't no female. Even the mantra goes TWAW.

Going by what happened at the recent World Swimming Champs, the medallists are under strict instructions not to make any protests or statements on the podium on pain of disqualification and sanction.

Not on the podium but they sure made political statements and announced they were going to do so in advance.

I love the last post on that tweet - about ultrathon's and women being better at them than men. Yes, tis something to do with our specific female physiology , fat content etc.

It's always physiology ... sex based and just occasionally being a woman has it's sporting advantages, But just look how far (literally) you have to go to find that occasion! How sodding extreme!

Pshaw!

emerencemaybehopeful · 16/10/2019 08:53

Can't see the twitter feed - apparently I'm blocked. Hooray! I'm taking it as a sign I've done something right.

TinaBarrow · 16/10/2019 08:56
