And it's to influence public policy and it's been retweeted by the police

" Note the age group. 13 - 21. I would hope that any organisation which allows such a wide range of ages to mix freely has robust safeguarding policies. Serisyly what 21 year old wants to hang out with 13 year olds?"

I saw an ad today for an LGBTQ+ group that was for 11-25.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 14/10/2019 19:55

What could an 11 year old and a 25 year old have in common that they'd benefit from discussing in a group setting?

Needmoresleep · 14/10/2019 19:59

Aimee has had links with this group for years. Certainly through the Green Party thing, and it has continued despite her being quietly dropped by Stonewall at the same time as Ruth Hunt announced her resignation. Quite possibly since she was a child.

They don't seem to mind.

I glanced at Aimee's Twitter the other day. (Insomnia is a cruel thing.) She seems to be cooling on the LibDems and getting more involved in American politics. More Green stuff as well. Perhaps the LibDems, with the scent of a serious victory in a snap election and new MPs from or parties, are sharpening up their act. Background researchers may consider poor Aimee as a potential liability.

Aimee did manage to have an interaction with Piers Morgan on Twitter after her claims to have helped get Air Canada to drop "Ladies and Gentlemen" from their announcements. Piers Morgan is currently identifying at a two spirit penguin (like our very own Fekko) which sems have encouraged the whole TRA crew to take a pop at him. Piers can hold his own.

Coldwatershock · 14/10/2019 20:01

Can the concerned public do anything useful? What about the locality safeguarding board? Or the directors of the charity? Also at the moment quite rubbish speakers are paid handsomely to do this stuff, so desperate are organisations to be woke. We had gender training at work recently and the person who came was crap... Talked about themselves most of the time (what a surprise) and couldn't answer anything about stats/facts. It's boom time for dimwits.

SunsetBeetch · 14/10/2019 20:01

Unbelievable. I could possibly understand it if Aimee was intelligent or charismatic, or had shown any signs of contrition. HOW do they keep getting these roles???!!

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 14/10/2019 20:03

What do they say on flights then ‘right there you bastards/shower of shits’?

I’m actually a three spirit penguin. Very very special. Them/They/That lot/Many/‘Behold!’

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 14/10/2019 20:05

My personal theory is that some of these very damaged TRAs give people the total creeps. And those people then double down because they don't want to expose what they perceive as their own internalised transphobia. So while their senses are shouting, 'get the fuck away from this person!' their mouths are saying, 'here is the key to the girls' changing room Miss Yaniv sir. I mean miss.'

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 14/10/2019 20:08

That would explain why so many people were trying to shut down the thread the other day about people who give you the creeps, eh? Don't trust your instincts, women, that might lead to you acting on them and then where would we be?

ScrimshawTheSecond · 14/10/2019 20:09

In April, Challenor was described as a 'mentor', so I would guess that she is indeed in contact with the children using the service.

RedToothBrush · 14/10/2019 20:13

Does Challenor also still have a role with the LibDems?

Challenor threw toys out of the pram over Dr Philip Lee joining the LDs.

StealthPolarBear · 14/10/2019 20:17

Here we go. Nspcc all over again

HandsOffMyRights · 14/10/2019 20:21

Challenor once mentioned in a tweet about being at Challenor's local police station in Coventry, waiting to report an internet hate crime (such as woman equals AHF or women don't have a certain sexual organ).

Either this force is brainwashed or pressured, or both.

Whatever the reason, when children are involved major safeguarding red flags have to be raised, as they would in a school in such circumstances.

But doesn't Stonewall advise the police? Ac is/was on the steering committee wasn't AC?

It is a very thin pink, white and blue line indeed.

Thingybob · 14/10/2019 20:21

I believe Aimee has been involved with that group since they were transitioning and has been a mentor for several years. I am not suggesting that Aimee is a predator but is clearly totally unsuitable for the role due to their disabilities and dysfunctional upbringing

ScrimshawTheSecond · 14/10/2019 20:59

Here is Aimee's fiancee's defence of his child rape fantasies. Knight also states 'I know nothing about the individuals Aimee works with or represents except as a class of people. I don't ask, she doesn't volunteer it, and she doesn't put any of them in contact with me. '

KatvonHostileExtremist · 14/10/2019 20:59

I hope you report that hate crime to the police Fekko, "mis-spiriting"

2 spirit penguin, such a slur

3 spirit are so much more valid 😍🐧

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 14/10/2019 21:01

But they keep on fighting. It’s very tiring.

Needmoresleep · 14/10/2019 21:06

Nah, it's the fact that Fekko got there first and poor Piers can only follow. This is Piers:

"He responded to calls for him to be sacked on Twitter, posting: 'You can't remove me, I'm currently identifying as a penguin so it would be animal cruelty.'

On today's programme he asked: 'Why can't I be a two-spirit penguin, why can't I just decide that's what I identity as?'

Co-host Susanna Reid asked if that was how is currently identifying, to which he replied: Yes, I've been a penguin for a week now.'

But he joked: 'Now I'm a penguin, I don't want anyone to be called he, she, they or them.

'Because you become exclusionary to me as a penguin. I want all the language around this programme to be changed now to reflect the fact I am now identifying as a penguin.'"

Gotta watch these penguins.

Slippery fuckers...

Kit19 · 14/10/2019 21:08

@Coldwatershock I checked the charity commission & its not a registered charity so no trustees or directors & no need to comply with charity commission rules :/

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 14/10/2019 21:12

Wow, Scrimshaw, that link. "I am a scary and potentially very dangerous person, stay away from me" would have been so much more succinct.

What's most disturbing is the lack of shame. Watch sexual libertarians become enraged! But the thing is, shame is a tool societies use to control undesirable behavior. That has sometimes been misdirected to limit behavior that's harmless, such as happy consensual gay relationships, but when it's removed completely? You're left with people who simply do not understand why the things they would like to do to others are wrong and who cannot be effectively controlled by society and prevented from doing those things, because the law can't do anything to stop someone who wants to do harm towards others until they've already done it and it's too late. And even if they never act out their fantasies just being exposed to them via writing etc is already potentially upsetting and harmful to others.

I would not want anyone who would want to be in a relationship with someone like that to be around and potentially influencing children. I'm not saying Aimee is going to lay a hand on those children, MNHQ, so fingers off the delete button please. I'm saying that becoming involved with a person like that indicates that your sense of what's right and wrong and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries has already been damaged to the point where it's just not a good idea for you to be a potential influence on young people .

Needmoresleep · 14/10/2019 21:12

A while ago, during the whole Green Party thing I tried to look for their safeguarding policy etc. but could not find anything.

They are a Coventry based group and so Aimee's, and father David's problems cannot have passed unnoticed. Which is why I think they don't care.

I would not allow any child of mine to attend.

SlowasaSnail · 14/10/2019 21:14

If anyone has concerns they can be shared with the Coventry Safeguarding Board

Aimee probably IS the group. Difficult to do due diligence on oneself particularly if you see yourself as faultless/blameless for previous errors of judgment.

There's plenty of sports groups/ youth groups out there (particularly in rural areas where there are fewer people to go round) that span a wide age range so that in itself isn't that unusual.

Young Farmers for example is 10yo - 26yo. The difference is that there are very strong family and community links (everyone knows everyone else) which are very protective factors.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 14/10/2019 21:17

its been great having everyone come together to tackle hate. Really insightful and many more signs of us coming together to tackle the issue

I mean what? Confused What does that second sentence even mean? The first sentence says “everyone” came together to tackle hate. Lovely. So what are these further signs of “us” (who is the us that isn’t included in “everyone”) coming together to tackle “the issue”? is the issue not the aforementioned “hate”? If so then you’ve just stated something happened and then stated you’ve seen signs of it going to happen. So did it happen yet or not? Hmm
