I kind of almost admire the single mindedness, in the same way that I kind of do with fundamentalists of every religious stripe. At least it’s consistent. You end up being a terrible human, but there’s a logic about it (of a sort).
Yes I do as well. The twisting and flailing of progressive religions to mangle their religious texts to say what they want is amusing, but the proper die hard Westboro Baptist types who just straight up own being outrageous twats are a different kind of fascinating.
I know I'm a woman because my medical school made it impossible (in practical terms) for me to return to my course after I became pregnant half way through. And my student peers asked why I'd even want to since I had a family now. And my father said how wonderful it was that I'd finally "given up that nonsense" and made him a grandfather.
I know I'm a woman because when I had a third degree tear after childbirth, and I asked the male anaesthetist for some pain relief, he rolled his eyes and said he "didn't see why" and the midwife had to talk him into it.
But yeh, please keep telling women how our biology isn't relevant and that not wanting the human rights of female prisoners to be violated by being trapped with rapists is "shitting on feminism".
