chickenwing Toilets are sex segregated not gender segregated.
If sex segregation were removed from toilets that would actually be preferable to me over forced pretending that transwomen are not male, although I know lots of men and women would hate fully mixed toilets.
What it comes down to for me is, if sex segregation is necessary it must be sex segregation. I can't see any situations where gender segregation is necessary for anyone.
I object if I am told men cannot enter for safety/dignity/privacy/no urinals but then that one subset of men is allowed, the condition being that we pretend those men are women. I can't go along with that kind of cognitive dissonance.
Now you might say, aha but that is not a man, that is a transwoman. I say, their sex is male and we do sex segregation not gender segregation.
If males need to be excluded, exclude them, all of them. If males don't need to be excluded, don't exclude any of them.
Prisons: sex segregated.
Hospital wards: sex segregated.
Post office queue: not segregated.
100m sprint: sex segregated.
Darts: not segregated.
Toilets: some are sex segregated and some are unisex, which depends on multiple factors.
