TheInebriati · 11/07/2019 11:09

lady69 I haven't seen those stickers for sale but you can download the jaypeg and print your own.

Not safe for work;

Oh hahaha how hilarious and original to be called a man on a feminist thread. Oh that really is very witty.

DuMondeB · 11/07/2019 11:44

I did almost add a bit about you being an ex husband OR a nosy mother in law but it ruined the pacing 🤗

JessicaWakefieldSV · 11/07/2019 11:47

PetrolBastard

Can you please not come here and be a bigoted transphobe? A husband doesn’t necessarily identify as a man. For all you know, everyone on Mumsnet could have ex husbands who identify as non-binary. Some women here have ex-husbands who are women and transitioned after divorce. Please be respectful of our ex husbands in future and stop with the outdated assumptions and harmful prejudices.

PetrolBastard · 11/07/2019 11:51

I think you should really put that on a sticker, JessicaWakefieldSV. It's got a great zing to it! The service station is calling!

JessicaWakefieldSV · 11/07/2019 11:54

‘Women don’t have penises’ is much better... not sure you’re getting the sticker tbh Hmm

JessicaWakefieldSV · 11/07/2019 11:55

Maybe you could make your own:

‘ I got called a husband on a feminist thread and it hurt my feelings’

LangCleg · 11/07/2019 11:57

This is what you are doing with your life?

Yes. Next question?

PetrolBastard · 11/07/2019 11:58

I've honestly got better things to be doing with my life than to be hanging around motorway service stations putting up stickers. So I guess I'll just have to do what everyone else does and mind my own business about what other people have in their underwear.

Satterthwaite · 11/07/2019 12:01

Spot the trope Grin

Mumoftwoyoungkids · 11/07/2019 12:08

I’m clever. I can wee and put up a sticker at the same time.

Although I don’t need to be that impressive - I spend a long time hanging around in toilets waiting for ds to decide how many plops his poo has left. (Usually a sudden discovery of one more after I have wiped his bum. I have time for entire wallpapering if needed!)

JessicaWakefieldSV · 11/07/2019 12:14

So I guess I'll just have to do what everyone else does and mind my own business about what other people have in their underwear.

I’d be happy to do the same if men stopped bringing their penis into our spaces. Until then we’ll keep reminding people of basic facts.

Women don’t have penises.

JessicaWakefieldSV · 11/07/2019 12:15

And honestly, if you are sooooo busy you can’t pop up a sticker while you pee, what are you doing here?? You clearly don’t have better things to do.

Lordamighty · 11/07/2019 12:24

Quote of the day from the I

Women don't have penises
Staffori · 11/07/2019 12:29

I think you may have misunderstood something. They don't have to be stuck in motorway service stations. I stick them on bus stops, telephone boxes, London underground stations and trains every day. I prefer Posie Parker's plain ones to the ugly dick pic, however.

Btw, it's not about wanting to know what people have in their underwear - one can guess that pretty accurately in over 99% of the population. It's about combatting an ideology that hurts us

AlessandraAsteriti · 11/07/2019 12:33

PetrolBastard seems to be your regular troll. Better left alone to stew in his own petrol.

PetrolBastard · 11/07/2019 12:40

Oh no, accused of being a man again. Ouch - my feelings Sad

JessicaWakefieldSV · 11/07/2019 12:50

Trolls can be female and non binary. Please stop being sexist Grin

PetrolBastard · 11/07/2019 13:03

Calling out troll can also just be a reductive way of labelling someone who doesn't agree with you without taxing your brain too much. It's also, if I'm not very much mistaken, against the talk guidelines.

JessicaWakefieldSV · 11/07/2019 13:09

Right before that guideline, there’s another that might interest you:

No trolling, misleading or deliberately inflammatory behaviour

MNHQ are very keen to keep threads civil and constructive. So they may check if everyone here is here in good faith.

nauticant · 11/07/2019 13:09

Apart from goading, what is it you're wanting to contribute to the thread PetrolBastard?

PetrolBastard · 11/07/2019 13:11

You mean deliberately inflammatory like continually accusing someone of being a man because they think they think spending your life putting up stickers in toilets is a silly way to spend your time?

JessicaWakefieldSV · 11/07/2019 13:13

Nobody has actually accused you of being a man. It does seem you have an issue with comprehension.

PetrolBastard · 11/07/2019 13:19

Yeah, I'm always called him and a husband day to day. Of course.
