We're not all one homogeneous same thinking mass you do realise.

Bloody hell petrol how can you say this and then in the next breath claim that there is such a think as "feeling like a woman"? We know that women don't all feel and think the same, that's why the idea that we're all connected by a magic woman-feeling is so offensive!

And since you're back, I'll ask my question again:

You're in a restaurant and you see a young girl go into the female toilet, closely followed by a someone who is clearly physically male. Do you:
a) alert a member of staff/ go and check if the girl is OK.
b) do nothing and assume the clearly physically male person is just using the correct facilities for their gender identity.
c) I wouldn't even notice as there's no such thing as being "clearly physically male". It's impossible to tell men and women apart without a karyotype test/ inspecting their genitals.

Still working my way through the thread, but got stuck here: if transwomen are to be treated like women in all circumstances, and the goal of feminism is equality, then I am now thinking that a priority for feminism should be bringing Equal Pay claims on behalf of transwomen to get their pay reduced to be in line with other women’s pay?

Using the arguments brought to this thread, I can’t honestly see where that logic fails. Seems a bit of a weird conclusion to get though, no? But both goals would be achieved.

Makes a person think about unintended consequences, really.

I'm going to insert my fiver into the self service machine in Asda later today or tomorrow.

I will be disappointed not to get a message on a bank note over the coming weeks!

Le donne non hanno il pene is better. If they had told me in 2019 I would have to argue with misogynist wankers about this I would not have believed it. Women have no dicks; men are dicks pretty much sums up the whole sorry mess.
