(despite evidence to the contrary I'm not illiterate).

Just throwing my question out there again in case petrol and chicken (or in deed any TWAW believers) come back - if you were in a restaurant and you saw a young girl go into the female toilet closely followed by someone clearly physically male, what would you do? Would you alert a member of staff? Go to check she was OK? Or assume that the male looking person was simply using the correct facilities for their gender identity?

DuMondeB · 11/07/2019 23:52

PetrolBastard (the band, not the Mumsnet poster) are like a 30 year out of date, shitty pound shop copy of Sheep on Drugs.

I kinda feel sorry for kids today, the only way they can rebel against us Generation X parents is by assuming strict (cross) gender stereotypes and banging on about all day on YouTube. They can’t come up with anything new so they keep tinkering round the edges and attempting to obfuscate their lack of originality with PoMo bollox-waffle.

Mildly amused at the thought that this was actually in the top 40 in 1993 😂

Oh bugger I am not going to get any answer to the question of how a woman thinks or feels before I go to bed and I really need to know if my feeling and thinking correctly aligns with the definition of woman.

PurpleCrowbar · 12/07/2019 00:17

Oh arse. I am acquainted with at least one member of Petrol Bastard (Leeds exerts quite the gravitational pull).

Perfectly nice chap, to be fair.

(& yes they absolutely are a bit like Sheep on Drugs but crap.)

MinecraftMother · 12/07/2019 00:21

In work about a year ago one of my colleague's £5 notes had "women don't have penises" written on it.

I wondered immediately which one of you had done it... 👏 x

Datun · 12/07/2019 00:25

In work about a year ago one of my colleague's £5 notes had "women don't have penises" written on it.

That's genius. No-one's going to bin a fiver.

ByGrabtharsHammarWhatASaving · 12/07/2019 00:29

I didn't realise notes could still be accepted if you wrote on them

AnyOldPrion · 12/07/2019 00:43

Just wanted to say how wonderful you are. I’ve been cackling at this thread all evening!

Corn dolly arguments!

But... I do remember thinking about two hours ago that the thread had been very successfully derailed, (which might have been the intention)..

Anyone seen stickerwoman lately? Or should it be stickerperson?

Chickenish · 12/07/2019 04:41

I do appreciate the apology about the confusion regarding my name.

SausageEggAndSpam · 12/07/2019 05:25

@DuMondeB and @PurpleCrowbar

I think Petrol Bastard were meant to be utterly shite and that was the point, kind of. Havent they re-branded as Petrol Hoers now?

DtPeabodysLoosePants · 12/07/2019 06:55

I'm going to have some fun with a sharpie and the fiver in my wallet today Grin

StopThePlanet · 12/07/2019 07:01

PetrolBastard

Do you like ICP as well? It would make sense...

Dressingdown1 · 12/07/2019 07:15

I'm a long term lurker on FWR, but haven't contributed until today. I would like to say that this thread is wonderful. It shows exactly the way that woke people think - never mind biological women and their safety, needs and feelings, think only about poor people stuck in the wrong body.

I'm not surprised that it's peak transing waverers, the woke thinking is spelled out in words of one syllable "I don't give a shit". Most illuminating.

JessicaWakefieldSV · 12/07/2019 07:44

Yes it is, isn’t it? Stated so clearly here, ‘I don’t give a shit’, sums up their entire thinking towards women.

GirlRaisedInTheSouth · 12/07/2019 08:02

There are always threads popping up on Mumsnet about taking a male child into toilets and changing rooms and there is uproar from mothers of girls. Boys do not belong in those spaces, they say.

Yet legislation may be coming in to allow ADULT men into women's changing rooms and toilets and the majority of Mumsnet is silent.

Why do you think this is?

DtPeabodysLoosePants · 12/07/2019 08:09

Damn I've only got a £20 note.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 12/07/2019 08:31

chickenish

When im being a plonker I’ll admit I’m a plonker

Once someone else points out that I’m being a plonker obviously Grin

LangCleg · 12/07/2019 08:48

I am still pondering how we go about ascertaining the gender identity of a straw person.

PetrolBastard · 12/07/2019 08:55

Yes, Petrol Bastard are deliberately rubbish. That's the joke. It's meant to be a comedic take on the EBM scene.

But apparently, I can't possibly like them because I'm female.

PetrolBastard · 12/07/2019 08:57

That can be your definition of women that you want so much. You can play a bit of Petrol Bastard in the entrance to the ladies and anyone who says Oh this is fun has to go in the gents.

golgiapparatus · 12/07/2019 08:59

If a woman or girl sees a penis while out and about on the streets it's illegal.

If a women or girl sees a penis in a changing room why is this now an opportunity to have woke points?

How is a women supposed to differentiate between the two penises?

Why is it different? Serious question btw.

DtPeabodysLoosePants · 12/07/2019 09:01

Maybe I could get one of those uv pens and write on all my larger notes so when they are inspected the message will be seen but I'll look innocent 😇

TurboTeddy · 12/07/2019 09:06

I like your thinking.

DtPeabodysLoosePants · 12/07/2019 09:09

Ordered. Got to love eBay 😃
