No links. No judgement of any one perticular person.

Just a discussion about the GENERAL situation as my original post was removed for not being in the spirit

Yet another lesbian deletion.

Am really getting fucking sick if this.

Special has nothing to do with it, this isnt an ego thing. If it were I'd find the less educated and wouldn't enjoy the conversations with the more intelligent than me.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 28/04/2019 09:46

Read the room. Lots of women yawning.

LangCleg · 28/04/2019 09:47

Apropos of nothing at all at all at all on this fine Sunday morning, this is a grey rock.

Trebe · 28/04/2019 09:48

I was never trying to entertain you. Learning can be boring.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 28/04/2019 09:49

Under a grey sky where I am. Wish I could whistle.

Trebe · 28/04/2019 10:11

If you cant help, find middle ground or learn then I suppose whats the point. However I am surprised to find only 3 feminists with actual knowledge. It shocked me that the left can't even discuss anymore. The fact I have defended my position on a tablet for two nonconsecutive 12 hour periods bothers me as I am about as left as it gets and supported feminism at one point. I still think its a good idea but the almost religious dogma and victimhood card is weird to me. There's a reason only 7% of uk women claim to be feminists, its because equality is not what you are looking for, for some its equality of outcome and not opportunity. That and the visceral man hatred. Of course not all.

I love women, even think they are the better sex. I know most of you wont care that I'm saying this but you're gonna kill feminism which might be a good thing for women. Because your not really fighting for women as equality your fighting for feminist ideology. I've question your views and most, definitely not all have demonstrated you don't know why you are a feminist you just hate men.

When I came here I genuinely was seeking a cause to help, I've helped feminism in the past in trying to get women religious figures, felt like a worthy cause. I know you couldn't give a fuck about that. However if I can't figure out reason to help I'm not sure who can. Maybe man haters, who knows.

Genuinely disappointed, thought I might have found a worthy cause.

Anyway sure you don't care either way, but I had to say if you can put me off your cause you can put off anyone.

Done for now unless something peeksmy interest.

Cheekyfeckery · 28/04/2019 10:16

OK Trebe, I find your arguments naive. You come across as quite closed to any notion that men impact women on a grand scale. But it may be that you genuinely don’t understand and want to learn more. That’s probably quite patronising of me - and I apologise for that - but I have teenage sons and this is the kind of debate we have. I’m pleased they are aware, and entering the debate on the whole.

So can I suggest you read more around the feminist boards on here, and maybe some feminist writers, simply to understand more about how men impact women?

Cheekyfeckery · 28/04/2019 10:18

And then I read your last post 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

aprarl · 28/04/2019 10:20

Yep. It's textbook. I almost wonder if there's somewhere they all copy and paste comments from.

TheInebriati · 28/04/2019 10:21

I'll believe in 'visceral man hatred' when men are being murdered, battered and raped by women at the same rate as women are being murdered, battered and raped by men.

Trebe · 28/04/2019 10:25

Thank you for that polite reply. I think where the main fundamental we disagree on is what makes women great and how they should acheive equality. It bothers me in general things llke that there is a lot of hypocritical misandry and sexism.how will feminists make any strides if they alienate half the population. Surely feminism is a fantastic ideology but that doesn't mean the movement is carried out in a dignified and in an equality based manner. This saddens me because I think it will ruin an ideology that in theory everyone should support.

GabrielleNelson · 28/04/2019 10:26

I am about as left as it gets and supported feminism at one point. I still think its a good idea

How very lovely of you to concede that women should have the same opportunities in life as men and that society should not be organised for the benefit of men as the standard variety of homo sapiens, with women as a rather tiresome defective second rank version. Hmm

TheInebriati · 28/04/2019 10:26

Go and start your own thread instead of derailing this one.

This thread is about a day for lesbians being fronted by someone who is neither a woman nor a lesbian.

Michelleoftheresistance · 28/04/2019 10:26

Jesus, is is me or has a man found a way to make a thread by a lesbian protesting that men are making lesbian day invisibility all about them, all about him?

It's not just you.

In fact it's a beautiful illustration of the whole problem.

Trebe · 28/04/2019 10:27

Thel more violent crime, murder and rape is committed to men.

TheInebriati · 28/04/2019 10:27

I thought pp who had more than 3 posts deleted were suspended?

birdsdestiny · 28/04/2019 10:28

I am so bored I can't even be bothered to find a picture of a grey rock.
It's very grey here too

Trebe · 28/04/2019 10:30

Gab there is a difference between an ideology and the movement that propels it. I said women should be equal, its the man hatred movement that means I cant support your movement. Which I'm genuinely disappointed to say.

S1naidSucks · 28/04/2019 10:30

I love it when stupid men think they’re intelligent, simply because they’re talking AT women. It’s very entertaining.

S1naidSucks · 28/04/2019 10:31

I thought pp who had more than 3 posts deleted were suspended?

That only refers to posters who use banned terminology about the ‘most oppressed’. 🙄

Trebe · 28/04/2019 10:32

What posts have I had deleted. I havent been sexist, misogynistic I have called peoples arguments and not names only once. Just because the idea makes you uncomfortable doesn't mean it should be banned.

TheInebriati · 28/04/2019 10:33

I found some info in Wikipedia about the original Equality Act that is quite interesting; apparently it was the House of Lords and MP Dennis Turner that got 'sexual orientation' added as a protected characteristic to The Equality Act.
So neither the Conservatives nor the Labour Party have a good track record on gay rights.

NotBadConsidering · 28/04/2019 10:40

I looked at the hashtag for Lesbian Visibility day. Elizabeth Warren’s tweet was at the top. Can someone tweet the presidential candidate if she thinks lesbians should be expected to give blowjobs?

Trebe · 28/04/2019 10:46

No I'm giving you ideas you dont like, I'm positive you understand them. Couldn't care less your a woman. Met many women smarter than me.

LangCleg · 28/04/2019 10:47

There is a weird correlation between 7% and Kleenex.

I can't quite remember what it is...
