I watched it. I was doing washing up as well, so it wasn't focussed attention, but I don't recommend others force themselves through it. The production values are nice though, if you appreciate such things.

I'm just feeling lost again, turning on social media after a couple of days away and finding this shared a few times over with words explaining that nobody could be 'swayed by so-called gender-critical arguments' after seeing this all the way though.

How do intelligent women not understand that none of this has anything to do with denying the existence of people who are clearly here and all of it has to do with the fact that this ideology is a threat to women and girls?

Who is Blanchard and why should I care what his or her theory is in relation to Blaire White as opposed to just listening to and coming to my own conclusion about White is saying?

I had no idea the bar was so low for intellectual thought, we are all Nobel standard geniuses here on mumset in that case. I had to look up the plural of genius by the way.

Blanchard's typology is basically that there are two types of MTF trans people:

Homosexual transsexuals - gender dysphoria since childhood, gay

Autogynephiles - generally later transitioning, attracted to the thought of themselves as a woman sexually, more likely to be heterosexual or bisexual

Ok thanks. Blaire White has said she was a gay teenager and she had suffered from dysphoria . She did not transition until she was in her late teens. She now sees herself as heterosexual and has a male partner.

She is very open about her dysphoria being a disorder. There is a video of her showing her partner photographs of herself pre- transition becoming more and more feminine in appearance. It's quite funny. She is very vain about her appearance but capable of laughing at herself too.

I like Blaire. I don't think of Blaire as a woman but I have a lot of time for Blaire.
