According to MNs privacy policy they are required to pass this information on. (Presumably in many cases they won't have it though)

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 08/04/2019 13:01

I have asked MNHQ about this though - if Hayden is going to request the details of all who post on this board then there will be an issue.

MagicMix · 08/04/2019 13:03

@MNHQ Could you please comment on this here?

RedToothBrush · 08/04/2019 13:04

@MNHQ can you comment on this at all?

XXcstatic · 08/04/2019 13:06

SH doesn't know their arse from their elbow, as regards the law. But no one should trust MN with their personal data - they have shown a number of times that they cannot be trusted with it.

Natsku · 08/04/2019 13:07

This is disturbing. Also, can't zoom in to read that very well, what user is it?

Notmynom · 08/04/2019 13:08

Yes, I would be interested to know why @mnhq didn't oppose the application.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 08/04/2019 13:08

ALittleHelp18, who going by AS seems to have posted only 3 times, back in 2018 Hmm

Whatisthisfuckery · 08/04/2019 13:08

I wouldn’t give the psycho the oxygen tbh. They is just clutching at straws because all their schemes go bump. Anyway GDPR innit, so they isn’t getting any information, lawfully at least.

Needmoresleep · 08/04/2019 13:10

Advanced search suggests only three posts by the user, so not a regular.

And it seems to centre around deadnaming including links to other websites.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 08/04/2019 13:10

They have a court order. MNHQ says that they comply with court orders.

RedToothBrush · 08/04/2019 13:10

If I recall correctly this isn't the first time this has been done. Last time it was over a completely different issue. (I'm not going to repeat what happened last time).

Most of the users posts have been deleted by MN anyway.

Will be interesting to see how its handled this time.

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 08/04/2019 13:13

But no one should trust MN with their personal data

Who the hell gives a forum this birth date, physical address and real name? Not me.

NotTerfNorCis · 08/04/2019 13:17

That's really odd. I've never heard of that user. And what info is MN likely to have anyway? Email addresses are often anonymous and your IP address as I understand it is shared by other users of that broadband provider.

NewWomensMovement · 08/04/2019 13:20

Any changes ALittleHelp18 is one of SH's socks?

Wasn't there a thing on twitter of SH getting caught out perpetrating self hate speech?

The purpose is to get people nervous I reckon.

MNHQ should object to it.

NewWomensMovement · 08/04/2019 13:22

chances

Popchyk · 08/04/2019 13:23

As with others, I suspect that MNHQ won't have the data requested anyway.

Apart from a throwaway email address.

Police not involved in this one obviously, otherwise Hayden wouldn't have to petition the court themselves for the info.

sackrifice · 08/04/2019 13:25

I'd like to think that MN wouldn't object because they know the only thing they have is a random email address.

Which doesn't identify anyone.

RedToothBrush · 08/04/2019 13:26

MNHQ says that they comply with court orders.

They can fight a court order if they think it is something that is important.

For example if they felt that a banned poster was acting maliciously to shut down conversations of other users. I'm not sure they would fight a court order.

It depends on who the user is to an extent. And what MN think the intent of this action is and whether its about an individual or a malicious act based on banning a user.

VickyEadie · 08/04/2019 13:26

Has the poster concerned supposedly said something defamatory about Hayden?

OldCrone · 08/04/2019 13:26

Why didn't @MNHQ defend the claim? Even if they didn't have anything except a disposable email and first name of this person, it looks as though they're happy to give out this information whenever someone asks for it.

sackrifice · 08/04/2019 13:27

Has the poster concerned supposedly said something defamatory about Hayden?

They released SH's 'previous' name and criminal activity.

Xiaoxiong · 08/04/2019 13:28

I'd be very happy for anyone to know my real name in relation to my gender critical views. The main reason I wanted to join an anonymous forum all those years ago was to discuss my pregnancy piles which I couldn't very well do on Facebook!

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 08/04/2019 13:29

Mumsnet Privacy Policy

If we are compelled to do so by a court order, we will share your personal data to the extent specified in the order.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 08/04/2019 13:30

They released SH's 'previous' name and criminal activity

Isn't that all a matter of previous record? Why hasn't Hayden gone after Kiwi Farms or that legal blog that posted about them?
