I have supplied MN with a burner email address and a name that may or may not bear some or any resemblance to my actual name.

Can't catch me.

RedToothBrush · 08/04/2019 13:31

Cos its not about Hayden's past. Its about Hayden's present.

Some one got pissed at being banned and is on a revenge mission.

AccioWine · 08/04/2019 13:32

They released SH's 'previous' name and criminal activity

Didn't Hayden do that in that Glinner article in The Times? If it's already a matter of public record, what's the end game here?

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 08/04/2019 13:32

Why hasn't Hayden gone after Kiwi Farms or that legal blog that posted about them?

Too scared. Prefers to try and scare women into silence. Totally not working though.

RedToothBrush · 08/04/2019 13:32

They are testing the water for future too.

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 08/04/2019 13:33

Didn't Hayden do that in that Glinner article in The Times?

Yes. A few interviews/statements now so it’s really stupid.

LizzieSiddal · 08/04/2019 13:33

Who the hell gives a forum this birth date, physical address and real name? Not me.

Me neither. All of the data I had to fill in is made up. I suggest anyone worried about privacy, goes to their account and changes their details.

OldCrone · 08/04/2019 13:34

Me too. It might be worth using a VPN as well if mumsnet can't be bothered to defend claims like this.

sackrifice · 08/04/2019 13:35

It's also probably why SH and the Ex Doctor suddenly decided that it was very bad what Caro is going through, and pretending they knew nothing about it.

It's about trying to scare MN users. Oh, and narcissistic injury after their banning from here.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 08/04/2019 13:36

All of sh's past is available on the internet, not a big secret at all. Hmm

placemats · 08/04/2019 13:36

I'll happily go to court.

Pick me Stephanie!

Saucery · 08/04/2019 13:42

Doesn’t it have to have an alternative i.e. the poster being asked if they would like the post to be taken down? If they choose to leave it up then MN have to supply details.

It is not safe to have any rl details on MN’s databases. I wouldn’t even change details, I would dereg and start again.

ColeHawlins · 08/04/2019 13:45

All the more reason not to give @MNHQ anything that links back to your RL identity. Also hacking concerns.

Anyone of a GC persuasion, who doesn't already have their account fully anonymised, would be well advised to take steps.

Cocolepew · 08/04/2019 13:46

Oh ffs, doesn't this person have a job? Where do they find the time for all this legal crap?

OldCrone · 08/04/2019 13:46

I wouldn’t even change details, I would dereg and start again.

Agree with this. If you have any real details on here that you don't want MN to share with the world, I'd delete your account, set up a new disposable email and give them that and a first name of your choice. If you're really concerned, use a VPN as well.

nauticant · 08/04/2019 13:47

Just to clarify something, Advanced Search only picks up existing posts and does not find deleted ones.

The poster in question has posted more than 3 times although I suspect not much more than that under that user name.

The approach here is: go for a minor player, get a straightforward result, hope to put the Fear of God into everyone else.

ColeHawlins · 08/04/2019 13:48

Yes that too.

Too scared. Prefers to try and scare women into silence. Totally not working though.

Maybe international litigation doesn't appeal so much.

LizzieSiddal · 08/04/2019 13:48

Maybe MNHQ need to consider talking action against SH, whose Tweets, deliberately misrepresent what is posted on these board.

LizzieSiddal · 08/04/2019 13:48

*taking

FreckledLeopard · 08/04/2019 13:49

What the hell? Why on earth hasn't Mumsnet contested this application? Surely there's sufficient revenue generated to pay for legal advice here?

ColeHawlins · 08/04/2019 13:49

Oh ffs, doesn't this person have a job? Where do they find the time for all this legal crap?

You've answered your own question, I think.

AccioWine · 08/04/2019 13:50

It's about trying to scare MN users. Oh, and narcissistic injury after their banning from here.

Ah yes, silly me GCAcademic, I'd forgotten about the banning and subsequent Twittering!

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 08/04/2019 13:50

I wonder what would happen if we all stated some facts that are a matter of public record
but which SH doesn't like publicising? One would almost think SH was ashamed of something. I can't think of anything in my own past so terrible I would take legal action to suppress it's publication...

And I've changed my name in RL too. No problem people knowing that as I haven't committed any crimes in any name I have had.

Would every single one of us be taken to court by SH for stating facts? It's almost as though SH is ashamed of something isn't it, and I think the general public will realise this, and aren't as thick as SH believes they are. Drawing attention to their own behaviour - the usual own goal of TRAs.
