Abusive arseholes (which autocorrects to falsehood. Interesting) like to use the justice system to further abuse their target when the victim is breaking free. Funny how that popped into my silly little woman brain. Anyways, make up kittens scented candles frocks high heels man pleasing etc etc

misscockerspaniel · 08/04/2019 14:57

They dropped their case against Glinner so this is literally just a scare tactic

A scare tactic that involved Glinner running up lawyers fees (in excess of £28k, I seem to recall) before SH dropped the matter. A scare tactic or intimidating?

MsMcWoodle · 08/04/2019 14:59

Has anyone got that monkey dance clip? I really like watching it.

ShiveringCoyote · 08/04/2019 14:59

They're eating hotdogs on cbeebies. Now there's Katie driving a rally car. Poor confused Katie.

JessicaWakefieldSV · 08/04/2019 14:59

Btw: Stephanie is watching this thread ( they has posted screenshots on Twitter), so please be careful

SH always watches MN. Always. It’s obsessive. Particularly strange given they ignore Kiwifarms and their extensive thread on them. I just wonder why they focus on Mumsnet... it’s a mystery.

happydappy2 · 08/04/2019 15:00

Am baffled as to why certain individuals behave in a manner, which portrays them as an abusive man. Kiwi farms really is a font of knowledge isn't it? Very enlightening.

RedToothBrush · 08/04/2019 15:00

Reminder.

What is the story today?

Talk about the issue of the day. Not the dead cat that's been dropped.

ShiveringCoyote · 08/04/2019 15:00

Sorry, Catie.

ShiveringCoyote · 08/04/2019 15:01

Oh don't talk to me about dead cats. I had to scrape one off the road before the school run. Right outside my gate.

Iused2BanOptimist · 08/04/2019 15:02

Perhaps we should all migrate to 🥝 farms. GrinGrin

HellAndDegenerates · 08/04/2019 15:04

The Glinner fees made me laugh.

His lawyers asked.for.it to be shared costs knowing full well the claimant couldn't afford to pay half. The claimant crowed.how.much of cost, bragged about it etc. Glinner refused crowdfund and just paid the bill. I think crowdfund money got donated to a rapeshelter that another tran s bully had defu nded.

ColeHawlins · 08/04/2019 15:04

Give us a clue Red I'm still too busy laughing at the cat.

JessicaWakefieldSV · 08/04/2019 15:04

Just in case anyone is interested in guidance re vexatious litigants

NewWomensMovement · 08/04/2019 15:04

Its all very grandiose though isn't it?

OOOOOooh look at meee ... the High Court. Oooh - I've got a piece of paper with a crown stamped on it.

Its a bit "my uncle is related to Princess Anne and my Grandad opened the gates of Balmoral to the Queen once".

All very typical of a certain profile. What a waste of money.

But whatever floats your boat. Some people prefer to go on holiday or buy vintage guitars, other people like to get stamped pieces of paper to get permission to access throwaway email addresses. I hope the sense of glory and achievement lasts longer than this afternoon.

To be fair to Hayden, the order is dated today, presumably the hearing was today, and the application was made on 13 March. Even without The Times making news today, we still would have been hearing about this today.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 08/04/2019 15:06

Gawd Grin They are just so pointless and embarrassing- I’m agog that they don’t realise what a colossal fool they’re making of themselves.
A desperate attempt to be relevant 🤷‍♀️
But to whom? Haddock? Do they have Anyone else in there life ???

JessicaWakefieldSV · 08/04/2019 15:06

^^If you believe that an individual has been involved in vexatious litigation, full particulars of the subject’s alleged vexatious activity, including court reference, parties names and outcome should be provided to the GLD, on a spreadsheet, together with the supporting material set out below. We will then investigate on behalf of the Attorney General.

Proceedings will only be brought by the Attorney General after a full investigation by the Government Legal Department into the individual’s activity and where one of the Law Officers (the Attorney General or Solicitor General) determines that it would be in the public interest to make the application.^^

Whatisthisfuckery · 08/04/2019 15:09

SH probably dropped the case against Glinner because SH had no chance of winning.

Now SH has obtained a court order asking for information on a particular MN poster. MN have probably looked at their database, realised that what they have on that user is, name, Stinky Bummface, Email address, [email protected] and gone whatevs.

SH’s words contain about as much fact and integrity as they always do, so just ignore the attention seeking twit. Just make sure you have no identifying details on MN and SH can do whatever SH likes.

ErrolTheDragon · 08/04/2019 15:10

Kiwi farms may be beyond SH's reach because it's not British, I suppose. If it's American, their laws re freedom of speech etc would presumably render them pretty much impervious to a pissed off brit.

RedToothBrush · 08/04/2019 15:11

Dead cat strategy, or Deadcatting, refers to the introduction of a dramatic, shocking, or sensationalist topic to divert discourse away from a more damaging topic.

Not completely unrelated to a reverse ferret
Reverse ferret is a phrase used predominantly within the British media to describe a sudden reversal in an organisation's editorial or political line on a certain issue. Generally, this will involve no acknowledgement of the previous position

Given there's a new revelation every week atm, having a bag full of dead cats would be a typical strategy.

So shall we talk about Mermaids, the Tavistock, undue pressure, 3 year olds, and lack of evidence based medicine.

Or dead cat dropping.

Keep your eyes on the real issue. Policy not personality as priority except where relevant to policy.

ColeHawlins · 08/04/2019 15:12

So shall we talk about Mermaids, the Tavistock, undue pressure, 3 year olds, and lack of evidence based medicine.

Oh yes I did - blearily - see the GIDS story this morning.

Part of the slow reassertion of rationality.

jay55 · 08/04/2019 15:13

Claiming Targeted harassment is a joke, given what Caro is going through.
