I can only assume this man has no daughters, sisters or female friends. He actually thinks women and girls don't really mind if their achievements are trashed for the 'greater good'. He gives not a care for fair play or sporting excellence for women because he thinks only real sports ie men's sport actually matters.

Basically, it doesn't matter if male transpeople dominate in female sport, because it will be inspiring for (let's face it) male trans children.

I see that the writer has pulled out the cliche about transition being a huge deal, that people would never do on a whim:

The whole point is that there are concerns about self-id. That this arduous process won't be necessary or expected. There are TRAs arguing that any male should be able to compete as a woman, simply because they choose to.

wow. Women just don't matter. There is something truely wicked about trying to force people to accept pure fiction over reality. It is obscene that we have entire scientific disciplines who pump out fake science. Peer reviewed science doesn’t mean a thing when all those peers are corrupt frauds hell-bent on pushing a political agenda. These are not scientists, they are activists masquerading as scientists. Their students are trained to become diversity officers whose task it is to police the lies and exact punishment on those who don’t toe the line.

It has taken YEARS to get women’s sports given airtime on TV and reported on. I want to see top world class women in sports, not mediocre trans women.

Wow. That's a contender for most contemptuous, dismissive, appalling male privilege display I have ever seen. Astonishing.

I'm all for people being who they feel they are, but sport is separated by gender for a reason. Men are (typically on the whole) stronger than women and it is absolutely ridiculous for a trans woman (biologically and chemically male) to compete against biological women. It shouldn't be allowed at all, then trans people can decide for themselves if they're happy to go through a change and still compete against their own sex. Boils my blood
