It looks like they’re setting up the ‘transwomen are just predatory men using transgenderism as a means of preying on others’ stereotype but they usually do a bait and switch so I doubt that will actually be the story.

I thought they said some feminists rather than a blanket inclusion.

It’s an overused trope in drama. Very few people actually vomit in response to strong emotion in real life. We often watch things when eating. Amazing how often the obligatory mouthfuls of vegetable soup make an appearance....

Lolz at the head pathologist just accepting that guy was a woman because he said he used female pronouns. Come on- doesn’t being a pathologist require medical training? It’s one thing to use and respect pronouns but I can’t see any doctor of that age (and with more brain cells than Dr Adrian Harrop) actually thinking the man is a woman.

I’m confused but, then again, I only started watching half way through. The episode info says ‘attack on a transgender man’ but they’re referring to someone called Evie and calling them she. So is the victim a transman or a transwoman? Or is there more than one victim and I just missed it?

They said "some feminists", yes, but do feminists of any sort generally send hate mail to trans people? Disagreeing with them on Twitter isn't the same thing.

I felt like the female pathologist (short dark hair) was being set up as the faintly gender critical one who will come to realise why she's wrong by the end of the second part.

Also, I thought the vomming thing was plot-relevant, like it's going to turn out the victims were drugged or poisoned.

I figured they're going for a self-loathing and takingit out on people living as their true selves, although I didn't think that last victim was trans.
I don't think my DH appreciated my comment about them doubling the annual trans murder rate in the space of half an hour if the missing charity boss was dead.

Judas- Evie was one victim and the other one was the trans man at the beginning. And then some random non-trans woman who survived the attack. Makes little sense really.

Surely this is the job of some lowly police officer? Or even a civilian technician-type?
How come a huge team of expensive pathologists only ever work on one case at a time and are all on duty/at work all the time?
Why are all their scientific test results instant?

Yeah. I was going to turn over at that point, but hung until the ‘feminist’ bullshite. I went “fuck you” and decided enough was enough. They can shove their ‘Witless Silence’ (thanks for that) up their pandering jacksy.

There's a pretty ridiculous episode of Bones with a transwoman murder victim. All the scientific experts mindlessly agreeing that despite the clearly male skeleton the victim was really a woman because of the 'feels'...

So its ok to send hate on twitter? It's just twitter, right.
