And he did it with the most derogatory angry expression on his face.

Whilst we're whatabouting, can anyone confirm if Jezza was one of those socialists who used to bellow "Ditch the Bitch" across the House at Mrs T without anything happening, years ago? I suspect he was. But then I can't abide the man.

Mistletoe I presume that you know what Labour have been up to in the past few years as they work hard to erode even the meaning of the word 'woman'?
Instigated by the Tories but they and the Greens have charged ahead with their wilful misogyny as they think it will get them woke points and the youth vote.
I am another who has no one to vote for.

Mistlewoeandwhine · 20/12/2018 12:28

I’m not saying Labour are perfect but whilst the NHS is being privatised and one fifth of the country are living below the poverty line, I’ll always vote Labour as to do otherwise is to have blood on my hands.

starcrossedseahorse · 20/12/2018 12:48

And I shall spoil my ballot paper.

You're saving the NHS for males, (genderists have female blood on their hands) the NHS is funded by female tax receipts and it's now all about the health care professionals not the service users the NHS is not a safe place for females. Drugs are tested on men, females having heart attacks are failed, childbirth care is poor, I could go on.

What I'm getting here is that people are offended that he assumed her gender?

BlueEyedBengal · 20/12/2018 14:57

If it's ok for him to say it I'll join in and call him what he is stupid man

BlueEyedBengal · 20/12/2018 15:00

He definitely said stupid woman didn't he or looked like one of those badly dubbed foreign adverts

DioVelazquez · 20/12/2018 15:00

How fucking deluded you are.

Nice.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 20/12/2018 15:02

or looked like one of those badly dubbed foreign adverts

Like glade

BlueEyedBengal · 20/12/2018 15:03

That's one of themGrin

MissEliza · 20/12/2018 15:19

Nice. A one word answer because you know fine well he did say it and so there's not much you can respond with.
He's an arrogant old man who detests being challenged by a women, like so many men on both sides of Parliament. I'm a Tory voter but I condemned Cameron when he told a female MP to 'calm down dear'.

MissEliza · 20/12/2018 15:23

Sexism aside, it's not even appropriate for the debate chamber, where you are supposed to be able to speak in a civilised and respectful way. TM would have been wrong to call him 'a stupid man' and if she had, I would think her weak and also that she had demeaned her office by doing so.

DioVelazquez · 20/12/2018 15:33

A one word answer because you know fine well he did say it and so there's not much you can respond with.

I don't really care whether he said it or not. I said "nice" because your post was rude and confrontational. And MNHQ clearly thought so too.

MissEliza · 20/12/2018 16:16

Well I'm afraid I find MNHQ very hypocritical and inconsistent about these things. Several years ago I remember being told by a poster 'do fuck off' when I praised the Camerons for how they dealt with their son's illness and passing. MNHQ let that comment stand because, according to their email 'we're all adults'. What's the difference between my comment and that one?
You still are deluded. I'm assuming you are a woman and I think it's disgraceful when women choose to stick up for or defend sexist behaviour.

DioVelazquez · 20/12/2018 16:23

I'm not even the person you called deluded in the first place for god's sake.

DeloresJaneUmbridge · 20/12/2018 16:27

I'm fairly certain he did say "stupid woman" but note that even lip readers cannot agree.

I am more irritated that he has denied it (if it's what he said). If he DID say that he should have just apologised.

Still laughing about the false outrage of the Conservatives about him insulting women when they've spent the last 50 years or so doing exactly that.

And I am out of this thread now. Fed up with the whole thing.

GiantKitten · 20/12/2018 16:30

Which bit of “stupid woman” is sexist/misogynist?

She & Andrea Leadsom & Nadine Dorries & Andrea Jenkyn are all women & all say plenty of stupid things.

Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Philip Davies are all men & all say stupid things. Is it sexist to call them “stupid man”?

Why have people become so fucking precious about language?

starcrossedseahorse · 20/12/2018 16:38

Seriously? Here's one example why language matters a great deal.

Currently the word 'woman' is being redefined to mean real women and men who want to be women. This renders the word meaningless in virtually every way.

Language matters.

beanaseireann · 20/12/2018 16:39

I looked at the footage on my Sky app.
The first time I thought he said people but on second viewing I thought he said woman

Aristaeus76 · 20/12/2018 16:56

First time I saw it I thought he said people, 2nd time I watched it I thought he may have said woman, 3rd and 4th times I watched it I thought he said people.

Just out of interest, is it sexist for any man to say anything negative about any woman under any circumstances?

DeepanKrispanEven · 20/12/2018 17:06

The movement of his mouth on the second syllable really looks much more like "ple" than "man".

DeepanKrispanEven · 20/12/2018 17:13

well we all saw on the news that he said stupid woman

No, we really didn't, @niesha6899.

AnOtherNomdePlume · 20/12/2018 17:17

Deepan I thought that.

So stupid wimple it is!
