And he did it with the most derogatory angry expression on his face.

They're not far left though. It's closer to the post war settlement of a mixed economy.

TeeJay1970 · 19/12/2018 17:15

Woman not man.

Although it makes no difference.

starcrossedseahorse · 19/12/2018 17:16

Tory policies are having a dreadful impact on poor women, there is no doubt and I am not denying it nor would I.

Avegemitesandwich · 19/12/2018 17:16

It's a bit like Laurel and Yanny... I watched the video and was sure he said woman and couldn't see how it could possibly be people, then read that twitter screenshot upthread about lip reading and now I can only see it as people! 😂

derxa · 19/12/2018 17:17

Also interesting how posters are ignoring MrSlant! Exactly
I watched PMQs live. TM was doing her comedy panto routine and then the camera cut to JC and he said 'Stupid woman' I had no warning of this and I was astounded at what he said. Given that John Bercow was already in trouble for saying the same thing to Andrea Leadsom it was extremely silly of him. JC is sexist dinosaur. Tony Blair would never have made this mistake no matter what you think of him.

Usernumbers1234 · 19/12/2018 17:17

Alison the lip reader seems from her twitter profile to at least be politically very involved if not partisan. I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if she was the one on MrSlants group that believes the Labour Party is the salvation of the deaf community.

The other lipreader who supports the “people” argument is Jessica Rees, removed from the CPS for lying about her qualifications and involved in some relatively high profile court disasters due to her “evidence”. She seems a self publicist who knew that going against the grain would get her name in the press.

Tinyteatime · 19/12/2018 17:20

This made me furious earlier but I’ve just re watched it after he said it was stupid ‘people’ and I have to say it could easily be people, not woman. I guess we’ll never know for sure. Any expert lip readers around? Agree with the poster who said that many of TM’s policies and inaction on the WASPI disaster are definitely misogyny in action. I’m no
Corbyn fan, but let’s not pretend TM is the good guy either.

Usernumbers1234 · 19/12/2018 17:20

Corbyn and McDonnell aren’t far left?!?! In comparison to Mao maybe....

Tinyteatime · 19/12/2018 17:21

@Avegemitesandwich yes that’s exactly what it’s like! Now I can only see people, whilst earlier I was convinced it was woman.

LizzieSiddal · 19/12/2018 17:24

I'd bet my house on the fact he said Woman, not people. It is so bloody obvious.

He isn't just a misogynist, he's also a liar! And the whole world can see it!

BabySharkAteMyHamster · 19/12/2018 17:24

Fucking hell, I called my OH a.stupid man this morning when he fucked up royally..........I may have had a shitty expression on my face when I said it.

Unlike May, he isn't destroying the country.

My.husbands cock up involved lying a milk carton down in the fridge with the lid not on properly so when I opened the fridge milk pissed everywhere. This isnt his first offence, this is the 3rd incident lf milkgate this week. I also called him an idiot.

If he was destroying the country and making families miserable i'd doubtless be calling him far worse. Obviously i'm a narcissistic bitch and should know my place. Hmm

I'm not a.huge fan of Jeremy Corbyn, they're all on a massive ego trip imo butnI don't see any issue.with what he said.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 19/12/2018 17:26

I thought he looked like he said ‘stupid fucker’.

impossiblecat · 19/12/2018 17:26

Ha ha ha!

I so hope it was stupid fucker 😎

CritEqual · 19/12/2018 17:27

The fact John McDonnell, slammed down a copy of Mao's little red book, in the House of Commons incensed my sense of humanity and the sanctity of human life as surely as if someone on the right had slammed down a copy of Mein Kampf. Both are extremist collectivist ideologies and BOTH are pure evil...

PreseaCombatir · 19/12/2018 17:28

You literally added my opinion (although ironically enough you did embellish it somewhat)
Yes I did. I paraphrased (and amalgamated with other similar opinions) your actual Opinion. Whereas you literally put words in my mouth by insinuating I that I thought people shouldn’t post unless they agree with me. When I never indicated that at all.

Mistlewoeandwhine · 19/12/2018 17:29

He definitely said stupid people if you look at it.

mirialis · 19/12/2018 17:31

Just watched on hour of news coverage on this and was agog at the fuss... thought surely FWR will see this is as ridiculous... but NO!

By arguing that it's much worse to call a woman "a stupid woman" than it is to call a man "a stupid man" you are doing a massive disservice to the idea that women in power should be there on an equal pegging with their male counterparts. Notice how it's your classic old Tory boys (not the "headbanging" right) who are leaping to TM's defence and saying that all the critcisms and attacks on her as PM (from their own party) are "misogynistic" when all of this would and has happened to men in her position.

The second I hear James O' Brien and the like using the word "witch"... yes my feminist hackles are right up and I won't let it pass amongst my friends either no matter how callous her language was about EU immigrants... but calling her a stupid woman under his breath... come off it...

Oh and no, would never vote for Labour whilst Corbyn is leader - this is not some sort of blind loyalty to that awful man.

Mistlewoeandwhine · 19/12/2018 17:31

And Theresa May has lead a government which has killed thousands of men and women through “austerity “ so let’s deal with the Tories hatred of women first.

onefootinthegrave · 19/12/2018 17:33

Also it's great to see (on a feminist board) women clamouring to join in and call Theresa May stupid. Way to miss the fucking point. confused

seacrossed this is what you wrote earlier, after calling Corbyn sexist. I responded and you said I proved your point.

My point is May is more sexist, and misogynistic than Corbyn ever will be.

Usernumbers1234 · 19/12/2018 17:34

And another one

Literally every single person who heard person on here posts that the Tories are murderers within two posts....

Yet those of us who think he should simply apologies are playing party politics.

DioVelazquez · 19/12/2018 17:35

Literally every single person who heard person on here posts that the Tories are murderers within two posts....

Not me!

Oops.

Helmetbymidnight · 19/12/2018 17:35

I still can’t believe she triggered article 50 without agreement or plan.

What was she thinking?

Stupid woman.

Mistlewoeandwhine · 19/12/2018 17:36

The Tories are murderers. No two ways about it. I’d happily call TM a lot worse than a stupid woman.

brizzledrizzle · 19/12/2018 17:36

Labour supporter here. It certainly looked like stupid woman to me but it's what politicians of all parties do - insult, mock and put people down. I wouldn't have a problem with May or Corbyn saying each other's ideology was stupid but neither of them should be criticising the person, just the ideology. I'm surprised given the pantomime line she took that nobody shouted 'oh no she isn't'

I am not a fan of May (and not much of one of Corbyn either) but one thing she isn't is stupid. Misguided maybe, stupid no.

MargueritaPink · 19/12/2018 17:38

Corbyn and McDonnell aren’t far left?!?! In comparison to Mao maybe

Guess you missed the little red book incident. They are extreme , hard left.
