Are women hated because we are weak?

I'm sure there's been a thread about this before but I am wondering again- why do we hate women?

Straight men hate women.
Women often seem to hate women.
Transwomen often seem to hate women.
Gay men often often seem to hate women.

Why? What is it about us which is so detestable?

Is it because we are seen as weak due to femininity? Our reliance on men? That we have not contributed as much to society as men allegedly?

Is because women can have children and men can't?

Is it because straight men want sex with us so much and we control that?

I find a lot of sexism at work. Men mess around with fluffy, flirty women, but can't deal with women who act normally, who have knowledge and tell them something they don't know! I mean, 'How can a woman know something I don't?

Having a first look on Feminism chat as I was interested to know what your thoughts are. I have Four Brothers and Two Uncles who are Gay, I don’t recognise any nasty traits in my male Relatives. This is a serious question what is Femanisn? I ask because it looks like you hate Men, I find it rather Sad. What are your thoughts about your own Fathers, Brothers, Uncles do you even like them? No nasty comments please, serious answers.

I dont hate men, i hate the patriarchy. Some men uphold it, others dont. Some women also enable it.

I do not buy this bullshit about sleeping at night due to the protection of men if men werent so fighty and rapey we wouldnt need it!?

Well this looks like the only answer i’m going to get so I think i’ll give the Feminism Forum a miss, no offence but for Women you all seem to have an awful lot of Testosterone.

Nope, don't hate men. I have some good ones in my life, and some absolute stinkers. But I recognise they all possess a certain amount of privilege over me because of the way our society is set up to accommodate them much more than women, most usually around issues pertaining to our differing biology.

Thanks for your answers, i feel we’re all equals guess i’ve been Lucky I had a good Career and both Daughters are Solicitors so not really had any “ man issues”.

Why is women’s liberation equated to hating men? This is why we ask do men hate women because the automatic assumption is that if women want liberation then it must be because of hate, which suggests hate is featuring somewhere in the opposite. There’s a couple of men I love, some I like, a few I detest and several billion I’m utterly ambivalent about. Women’s liberation is about empowerment and choices for women to live their lives free of sex based oppression - why would anyone disagree with that or say it’s not fair? Seriously, do you think women’s liberation comes after every single man on earth is living his best life? It’ll never ever happen in that case cos for the millionth time it’s other fucking men that rule the roost!
