No it isn't, it was reported to Sussex police as a credible threat and they investigated it on those grounds. Mea culpa, it was only one bomb threat but I phrased it in a way that many people do when using the English language. It wasn't deliberate.

Indeed. JJ has had loads of posts deleted. All the veiled hints and dire predictions would appear to be breaking one guideline after another.

But actually looking at your point in details, what about someone spreading lies about women? Are they just as culpable for the numerous actual threats and acts of violence against women?

If I hover my mouse over the sentence, the URL it links to displays at the bottom of my browser window, so I've never considered that I'm 'hiding' its destination.

The blinding sunlight really isn't to some people's taste is it.

Why was the exhaustive list of links to threats removed? How can that be against the Guidelines, it is information and evidence in the public domain.

Hopefully it will be reinstated, once that poster emails HQ.

Linking to news stories about threats to women, because someone has said we are liars, does not break any guidelines as far as I'm aware.

At the very least, if you're suddenly not allowed to refute an allegation of deception using evidence, then the allegation should also be withdrawn.

It's a mystery to me why certain posters are so keen to stop posts on Mumsnet about certain issues, but leave other sites well alone.
