@IwishNothingButTheBestForYou2

Why was this thread suddenly resurrected by dreeple?

..and why are so many posts being deleted? What is it we are not supposed to discuss?

Anyone?

PurpleHoodie · 16/11/2020 09:33

TRAs posts don't get read.

Boring people, apparently.

IwishNothingButTheBestForYou2 · 16/11/2020 09:36

If anyone wants to PM me to explain that's fine. It's pathetic, sure, but I'm ok with doing it.

(Nosy me!)

Datun · 16/11/2020 09:40

A poster on Mumsnet saying 'have you seen the thread on Kiwi Farms' means nothing beyond 'I saw something interesting/alarming about this person on Kiwi Farms',

Exactly.

It doesn't necessarily mean you subscribe to anything on the site. Or maybe you do. As it has been pointed out, there will be people registered on mumsnet who are less than savoury.

Also, how do people warning other people not to look at the site, or else, even know what's on the site?! 🙄

PurpleHoodie · 16/11/2020 09:47

It's a mystery Datun.

PurpleHoodie · 16/11/2020 09:47

IWish I'll PM you.

SophocIestheFox · 16/11/2020 09:53

Indeed. And we’re devilish because we can pull off the trick of being simultaneously utterly irrelevant and out of touch and best laughed at/ignored, and profoundly dangerous and in need of constant monitoring lest we go rogue.

SophocIestheFox · 16/11/2020 09:57

I am also PMSL at msahannigans point that if knowing a website exists and maybe looking at it makes you complicit in anything that anyone on that website writes or believes, then the mumsnet Eyes monitoring us so thoroughly must themselves secretly be recruited to the gender critical cause. And if you post here, you must be complicit! Literal blood on your hands.

Arf. Silly.

IwishNothingButTheBestForYou2 · 16/11/2020 10:00

Thank you PH - I have replied.

there is a rather co ordinated campaign involving extreme threats of death, violence etc etc against women over on Twitter (which as a platform seems to tacitly support such threats) - I wonder if that site is held to the same standards by jj?
Does the subject of this thread also get tainted by association due to their extensive use of Twitter?

terrorism
noun
the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
"the fight against terrorism"

That's not what happened though, you're twisting it! A poster under the guise of a so called "joke" was encouraging people to go and have a look.
With a "suggest you go and have a look or don't go and have a look" attitude.
Can't find it now, maybe one of the deleted ones?
Why are people making out they didn't (even before the possible deletion?)
This is why people take screenshots isn't it, might have to start doing it myself lol if I could be arsed or cared enough Grin

accessorizequeen · 16/11/2020 10:23

Can anyone explain what the latest is with the flying lawyer? A lot of tweets I don’t understand. 🤯

MissAHannigan · 16/11/2020 10:23

And..?

IwishNothingButTheBestForYou2 · 16/11/2020 10:23

Bummer.

Quaagars · 16/11/2020 10:26

And..?
And being the fact that it's being outright twisted by several into something that wasn't said at all.
Think there's a word for that? Gaslighting? I know what I saw.

MissAHannigan · 16/11/2020 10:29

Whats been twisted though? A poster referenced a thread on KF, thats not being denied?

The only issue here is jj banging on about terrorism because people are looking at a thread on KF.

As you well know, but carry on nitpicking and deflecting.

Cailleach1 · 16/11/2020 10:30

@IwishNothingButTheBestForYou2

Bummer.

Actually, I can give the ultimate in Bummer. I ran out of tea bags two days ago. I had to start the day with coffee instead. I wasn't able to get teabags until the evening.

Day ruined. Wasn't right until the next day where I could start it off with a good strong mug of tea.

MissAHannigan · 16/11/2020 10:32

And here's the full quote, just to prevent any further confusion on your part...

"A poster on Mumsnet saying 'have you seen the thread on Kiwi Farms' means nothing beyond 'I saw something interesting/alarming about this person on Kiwi Farms', it does not mean 'I support the personal ideology of the Kiwi Farms owner', or 'I support every thread on Kiwi Farms"

Quaagars · 16/11/2020 10:32

A poster referenced a thread on KF, thats not being denied?

It wasn't "just referenced" though.
It was in a go look way. As a joke but not a joke.
It's hard to explain with no context if it's gone, even still there though people try to tell you it's not what you're really seeing or deny it.
Gaslighting.

Quaagars · 16/11/2020 10:34

And here's the full quote

As I said when I quoted that - That's. Not. What. Happened.

MissAHannigan · 16/11/2020 10:34

Gaslighting.

Once again, no one is denying that a poster made a reference to a thread on KF.

Do you actually know what your argument is here, or are you just being contrary for the sake of it?
