This has a similar ring to it, as the anti-trans protesters tried to co-opt the lesbian community, there has been a vocal backlash and clarification of support for trans people.

It's actually quite disturbing.

I along with many others have engaged with transgender people on Twitter who have told us they have been raped or sexually assaulted. No matter how angry we were, we always expressed our empathy for them.

But then, women are the more empathetic sex.

This was a most disturbing thread. The links lead me to see things I wish I hadn't. The mysogeny and lesbophobia were terrifying and I really didnt realise quite how sick the transcult is. Why is MN letting this happen? Is this what Justine dreamt about when she set up this whole site? Women being belittled like this, lesbians being criticised for their sexulity. It's a bloody disgrace. She should be ashamed. She's created a fucking monster.

I think it's a fruitless exercise in this case, but I'm sure most of us recognised what you were saying and, in a way, your experience of sharing highlighted the issue I referred to later on.

One of the really excellent outcomes of the entire debate over trans issues is the number of women who are waking up to feminism.

I genuinely believe that these debates, although painful, are so informative and vital for raising awareness over feminist issues.

Not just self ID, etc, but the general misogyny that's woven in our society.

Thank you for speaking out.
My good friend, a lesbian, has never recovered from what happened her.
She is regularly under the care of the crisis team, self harms, and has suicidal ideation.
I wish I could say more, but it is not my story to tell.
I'm disgusted by the comments here from someone who purports to be a lesbian. The lack of insight, and coldness of heart, tells us everything.

Am confused because I thought I was straight but didn't like my gender roles which makes me trans but recently I find myself falling more and more in love with littlbrowndog every day so surely that makes me more of a lesbian than daim
