When Brendan was on the Rubin Report he described himself as a 'Marxist Libertarian' (which he knows to be meaningless but it's all part of his recognition that the Left has lost its way when it comes to Free Speech).

They're saying that having a trans identity isn't an illness. Gender dysphoria as in the discomfort felt between body and identity is the medical condition which is treated. Gender dysphoria is listed as the accepted medical condition, not being transgender.
