Some are suggesting it may be permanently. The silencing of women continues.

Also 'Inside Crochet' and 'Knitting Help' are blocked. Maybe they're in league with the Battersea Brownies?

What did Tim Minchin do?

I've been hoping he might come out as gender critical at some point. I mean if you can write and perform a song called Fuck The Pope you can handle Lily Madigan, right?

Tim Minchin? Pretty sure he's pro trans and made efforts to invest/promote trans writers.

Tim and Jonathon have both been talking about the importance of debate and freedom of speech in relation to that guy who got convicted for the nazi pug joke thing.

I just had a look at Tim Minchin's twitter. I'm guessing he's been blacklisted over his defence of free speech and the right to offend people.

@grandplans sorry this layout is really difficult to work out.
I mean, there´s a parenting forum were women are being blocked and banned from when trying to raise concerns about all these issues you all write here are freely.

I´d like to post about it but I´m yet to figure out how things work here, don´t want to break guidelines and have the thread deleted.

Just wondering of I can name the site for example and all that´s happening there, on this board.

Are you talking about the BC board Doro? I saw it mentioned in another thread.

I don't see why you can't start a thread about it. Mumsnet HQ might remove it if the owners of that site directly complained but unless you are naming people it should probably be okay.

If you are overly worried stick to initials or some other big clue that doesn't name directly. We will all figure it out.

That list is most strange. David Aaronovitch (sp?), David Milliband, BBC2, BBC Archive and assorted West Country festivals are on it too. Twenty thousand people.

Where is the list? I'm blocked from looking at it does that mean I'm on the list? I wasn't on the list when one was published a few days ago

I used incognito browsing 2Rebecca and the link just upthread. There's a sticky on the twitter feed.

I think it blocks people who like posts by those already on the list? In which case it's going to grow exponentially until it includes everyone on Twitter. Maths innit .
