Interesting development at Labour HQ tonight, which I do believe relates in part to the treatment of Venice.
Christine Shawcross has been forced to resign after not taking action and saying that holocaust denial was fine in certain circumstances.
Significantly shes head of Labour complaints and a momentum person.
The labour civil war, seems to have ousted her.
There is growing evidence of a real problem with disciplinaries being handled really poorly.
There's the no action against the brosocialists using misogynistic language, there is the TRAs including Madigan running riot, theres the story about poor handling of the sexual harrassment claims of Ava Etemadzadeh against Kelvin Hopkins and today this appeared on Victoria Derbyshire:
Linda Grant @ lindagrant
Interview with my sister @michelegrant describing what happened when she reported a Labour Party member for virulent antisemitism, it took 16 months and left her feeling distressed and as if she was on trial.

The common element seems to be that momentum factor members and sympathisers have largely been given a easy ride whilst other party members have been subjected to appalling treatment.
Shawcroft remains on the NEC. For now at least though she has resigned from role as head of disiplinaries, but this surely has to be a good thing, which might mean this bull shit stops.
The bad news?
If she does resign the NEC, her seat automatically goes to Eddie Izzard. (For the avoidance of confusion, thats tge NEC job, not the disciplinary job he gets).
I hope this is good news for women, despite the Izzard thing. The suggestion is this would be a good thing for the trade unionist wing of the party, who are not keen on self id (all those nasty feminist unionists).
