I don’t usually comment but I am beyond angry about this. No consultation, no addressing concerns. They allow appalling abuse towards women and transwomen who can see what a bad idea it is.
Well they’ve told me what they think of us, they’ll not be getting my vote again and I’m cancelling my membership. I know of other (usually silent) women doing the same.

Magdalen Berns' latest youtube film she says something like "even men think it's stupid; they don't see 'trans women' as women'.

As well as being so wrong and cruel in a million ways for us as women, it's an electoral death sentence.

It looks daft. Because it is.

I don't know how any woman with a modicum of self respect could stay with labour now.

It's like staying with an abuser in the hopes you can love him better all the whilst he's beating you into submission.

What I hope to see, with all my heart, is women leaving in absolute droves.

But it's also really important that women don't just quietly leave Labour. They should shout out loud why. MAybe create and join a Facebook group or ooh how about join a Mumsnet thread just so Labour can see how many they have actually lost?

A thread is good as women can post in it for months down the line as they don't renew membership.

Corbyn must really hate women. Imagine picking the anniversary of 100yrs since the first female vote. I swear they’ve been planning this nonsense and deliberately timed it for now. 100yrs from now they’ll be talking about the anniversary of when women lost all their rights.

Disappointed and really worried for what the future holds for women, me, my DD, my nieces. If my toddler DD grows up to show promise as an athlete I’m sad to say based on what’s happening now I will be actively discouraging her from persuing this. To watch her work hard, dedicate her teen years, etc knowing all along she didn’t stand a chance is just too cruel.

Personally? I’m starting to wonder if JC has a ‘thing’ for certain groups, sordid as that is to suggest.

Not sure how true it is but I was told earlier that the hiring of the latest LGBT disaster came directly from JC’s office.

I cancelled my DD a few weeks back, got my will you renew email today. No option to say no :D

Thing is if I email them back and say why, don't lily and co get my name for their list and then it's in public etc and threats/ doxxing?
