Its interesting that the reaction on this thread basically highlights why it is so important to address this attitude outside of *just the transgender community and raise awareness with women in general.

That kind of lying is characteristic of specific pathology. Mental fitness to be in post should have been considered a long time ago if anyone with actual power in the Labour party had the faintest sense of responsibility

TheGoldenBough I really wish they would. It's as if otherwise perfectly reasonable people are afraid to criticise Lily at all, just in case they're labelled transphobic. So much of what Lily posts really is beyond parody and I'm still not 100% convinced he isn't an MRA troll, but it's as if critical thinking flew out the window long ago.

I think Lily is probably an MRA troll. The jokes about being Savile's apprentice and the comparison of the Race for Life with apartheid-era South Africa suggests that there is no way in which he really believes himself to be a woman. One of the startling things about this is that he doesn't even pretend convincingly, yet so many people in the Labour Party seem to be utterly taken in by him.

One of the things I'm really looking forward to is when the party's Muslim supporters get wind of what's happening. Watch that previously solid vote fly right out of the window.
