That's exactly what it is. And they've managed to get lots of idiots to buy into it.

They have played a blinder, that is for sure.

On the other hand it has also, as a movement, exposed the rampant misogyny that is still pervasive throughout society and has been a wake up call to the fact that the movement towards seeing women as full autonomous human beings has barely shuffled forward in the last hundred years. Great contrast can sometimes be the catalyst for great change...

Or we could just be on the rinse and repeat cycle of history and the same old patriarchal shit will prevail but I'm trying to be positive.

I don't know how anyone can watch that video and not have it click that TRAs are men who enjoy bullying women. Everything from the tone of voice to the body language to the words used screams angry abusive man. I guess it's because sexism leads to people seeing the woman standing up for herself as the aggressor because she's not supposed to do that, tsk tsk, womaning wrong, why didn't she pet and soothe him like a loving mother?

I'm buying her book. It's a small show of solidarity but it's something.

So....Rose stands up for women but trans women say they are women so what exactly is the problem? If trans women really are women, they should support people standing up for women. The mind boggles.

It was interesting watching that escalate actually - he started with 'why aren't you including transwomen' then went onto criminals in prison and then as he was being hauled out he went for the 'genocide' thing.
