Because lot of people on twitter appear to think that women piss out of their vaginas.

So with that particular piece of 'advanced biology', what happens with a newly constructed vagina?

And er. maybe some will be disappointed with the plumbing?

I can definitely feel where they're scraping when they do a cervical smear

Same...makes me feel a little sick

Mutakirorikatum · 03/07/2019 22:09

which many of you will experience when you start to masculinise once you reach menopause, maybe only then will you start to understand how being a female with a female brain trapped inside a body that is masculinizing really tears you apart.

Lol, I’m 5 years post menopause, and my female body is not tearing me apart. It’s a bit saggy and wrinkly in places, my fanny doesn’t quite work as it used to in its heyday when it once pushed out a 10lb baby in 15 minutes flat, but I’m definitely not trapped in a masculine body.

@LucyAmethyst

Yes but we are still a sexually dimorphic species. A male can never become a female. We aren't on a continuum of sex.

Your DNA , and whether you will be born female or male, is decided by which sperm enters the egg. In other words the sperm decides the sex.

That's why it always angers me when men in India divorce their wives because she only gave birth to daughters. It's the SPERM arhat decides the sex you idiots.

For those who want to try and influence which sex baby they will have they say that male sperms swim faster but die quicker and female sperms swim slower but are hardier and last longer. So if you want a boy you should aim to conceive peak cycle and if you want a girl you should try to conceive a few days before peak cycle. I've got no idea if this works but it sounds plausible.

“This will be my final post on the matter, now I am going to find out how to delete myself from this place.”

Quoted, just in case you forget and come back.

FermatsTheorem · 03/07/2019 22:18

They always say they're going to flounce, Hirsute. They rarely do, in my experience.

Hirsutefirs · 03/07/2019 22:19

It’s almost like a threat!

Barracker · 03/07/2019 22:27

This segue into female anatomy has had me thinking about some specifically female sensations that stay with me, and I suspect will stick for life. I can conjure the sensation just thinking of it.
Period draggy uterus-falling-out feeling.
The let-down milk reflex: makes my eyes water to think of it, not in a painful way but in a yawn way
The engorged breast feeling before a feed.
God. Blocked milk ducts.
But the feeling when you release a plug from a blocked duct. Oh my.
The feeling of a baby doing a somersault inside. For that matter, the way my breasts tingled and my uterus had a lovely specific ache in the early days of pregnancy
Actual female orgasm. My uterus participates, I expect I'm not the only one.

So many. And whilst not every woman experiences them all, no man ever does or ever will. They're unequivocally and exclusively female.

sakura184 · 03/07/2019 22:33

@Barracker
Yes and because women simply aren't listened to or deemed worthy of having anything of value to say, male professionals even if the fields of gynecology and obstetrics are still clueless about female orgasms and even birth. So that's why I think surgeons are getting away with convincing unsuspecting patients that they can replicate female experiences and anatomy. It just boils down to an absolute lack of knowledge

FloralBunting · 03/07/2019 22:33

Barracker emphatically, yes to many of those.
In fact, love to.all you wonderful.womdn who have shared many eloquent posts talking about the wonders of the female bodily experience, which the thread resurrector has deemed 'misogyny and bigotry', because words don't have to actually mean anything at all now, or something.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 03/07/2019 22:34

So that's why I think surgeons are getting away with convincing unsuspecting patients that they can replicate female experiences and anatomy

I'm idly wondering how many of these surgeons are male, and how many female

TimeLady · 03/07/2019 22:35

I'm ten years post menopause. I didn't realise that meant I was becoming masculinised Shock

Is that why it's always me who puts out the bins? Am I going to have to mend the car too?

Will our new friend go through a neo-menopause or is that just something that happens to aging females and in Transworld you stay gloriously orgasmically feminine forever more?

To be serious, quite frankly, I find that 'masculinised' statement grossly offensive.

LangCleg · 03/07/2019 22:35

GurlwiththeCurl · 03/07/2019 22:36

Ah, I love that post Barracker. I am well past the menopause, but can still remember most of these. Thank you.

LangCleg · 03/07/2019 22:36

Continuing on from the beautiful 3D clitoris, here's our whole reproductive system. We are beautiful.

terryleather · 03/07/2019 22:41

Yikes Lang that pic puts me in mind of the head of a praying mantis...it's giving me the fear!

I'm I the only one cursed with always seeing faces in things...?

LangCleg · 03/07/2019 22:45

I cannot see a face!

TheInebriati · 03/07/2019 22:45

if you actually met me in person and realised my struggle and suffering, you might actually start to understand.

Right back atcha.

KTara · 03/07/2019 22:46

itsallgoingtobefine that is an excellent article you posted on page 10

And of course your uterus contracts when you orgasm - I remember that from what I was pregnant!

ZebrasAreBras · 03/07/2019 22:47

Barracker - YY to the memory of all those sensations! It's visceral, isn't it? Those feelings can be recalled so easily.

I'll add another - the feeling of the womb contracting during childbirth. Plus the feeling of the crowning during childbirth - DD3 was a big baby, and I felt every agonising moment - but the body just takes over.

The female body is incredible.

I've never known any post-menopausal woman say she feels 'masculinised' - bar a few chin whiskers. My mother certainly hasn't complained of it, and is still as feminine as she ever was.

FloralBunting · 03/07/2019 22:49

I can't see a mantis, but I can see a giraffe's head.

I am obviously over tired and am now giggling at the thought of a giraffe in me nethers.

terryleather · 03/07/2019 22:49

I'm toying with posting a pic of the head of a mantis for comparison but it's possibly triggering for insect refusers so I'll post this instead to go along with the rest...

FloralBunting · 03/07/2019 22:50

The burning sensation when the baby crowns. No one told me, and I actually thought something was seriously wrong and panicked!!!

terryleather · 03/07/2019 22:54

Yes, I can see the giraffe too Floral - much nicer than a mantis!
