Because lot of people on twitter appear to think that women piss out of their vaginas.

So with that particular piece of 'advanced biology', what happens with a newly constructed vagina?

And er. maybe some will be disappointed with the plumbing?

Even if someone had no clitoris, it can be constructed from tissue taken from the internal vestibular bulbs below the surface and retain sensitivity and orgasmic ability.

Yes I understand that you can still manage to "retain" some sensitivity. But my point is that you don't have the anatomical structure required. You simply don't have enough nerve endings to replicate a female orgasm in any way.

Plus It's well known that when men orgasm the show is over.

We haven't even got onto the subject of multiple orgasms or the ability of women to continue to absorb pleasure for a long period of time, way after their male lover is satisfied

Terry 😂

I suggest that July 3rd is now formally known as ‘The Night of the Zombie Thread Front Hole Apocalypse’

Look forward to celebrating it again next year, a bit like ‘Ed Balls Day’.

I do love those pictures of the clitoris.

It is the height of misogyny to assume these beautiful biological structures can be surgically reconstructed from the male anatomy. But fairly typical of men to believe that they can - they generally have no respect for the female reproductive system, or female sexuality.

A post op transwoman is not female. A surgically reconstructed penis is not a clitoris.

Barracker"

Those pictures remind me of this:

www.greatwallofvagina.co.uk/shop/internal-affairs-internal-vagina-casting

The female body is pretty awesome.

I love the way that image looks like the symbol for female Smile

The clitoris develops from an outgrowth in the embryo called the genital tubercle. Initially undifferentiated, the tubercle develops into either a penis or a clitoris during the development of the reproductive system depending on exposure to androgens (which are primarily male hormones). The clitoris is a complex structure, and its size and sensitivity can vary.

Lucy Amethyst ... the surgically reconstructed tip of the penis into a simulacrum of a clitoris ignores the biological fact that the female clitoris biological structure inhabits the labia and extends toward the vagina. The female clitoris is the external focus of a gloriously sensual underground biological structure. The female clitoris is not an isolated organ .. it is connected with the entire female vulva.

No amount of surgery can reconstruct such a wonderfully sensual natural structure.

PurpleCrowbar · 03/07/2019 21:09

That image makes me smile every time I see it.

& it's not going to be something you can replicate with a bit of willy. It just isn't.

Although I'm glad our visitor is able to enjoy orgasms. That's great.

Datun · 03/07/2019 21:09

Crikey, it does, doesn't it! I never noticed that.

FermatsTheorem · 03/07/2019 21:11

That image is indeed beautiful, Datun.

I recently saw that anatomical diagram of a breast, with all the milk ducts - again, fabulous what female anatomy looks like, and what it can do.

LucyAmethyst · 03/07/2019 21:13

Datun

"From what I understand the head of the penis is used to make the clitoris. But since it has something like half the number of nerve endings, it's nowhere near as sensitive and the orgasm is therefore completely different."

In penile inversion yes the clitoris is made from the glans of the penis.

In my type of surgery it was taken from the Frenular Delta.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frenular_delta

The Frenular Delta has more nerve endings than the rest of the penis.

But I would question your last point. The number of nerve endings does not change the type of orgasm, as every female has a different level of sensation, some can't orgasm at all, so its wrong to assume that this marks a differentiation.

Orgasm comes from a variety of factors, sensation yes, but also psychological and hormonal factors. As someone who has experienced both, I can say that the orgasm is completely different.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 03/07/2019 21:13

I have weird anatomy. While I was having a smear I suddenly said "Ooh, that tickles". The nurse told me I shouldn't be able to feel it, let alone find it tickly.

So I told her, in terms of a clock, exactly where she'd tickled. Her face was a picture.

Anyone else? I don't think I can be that weird. Though I've been wrong before.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 03/07/2019 21:14

This one?

It's amazing how hidden structures in the body can be so beautiful in a weird sort of way.

FermatsTheorem · 03/07/2019 21:15

I can definitely feel where they're scraping when they do a cervical smear.

I want a t-shirt with that image on and the slogan "Caped Crusader on Acid."

FermatsTheorem · 03/07/2019 21:15

That's the one, itsall

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 03/07/2019 21:16

This walls of text business and the gish galloping. Who does it remind me of?

Datun · 03/07/2019 21:17

I recently saw that anatomical diagram of a breast, with all the milk ducts - again, fabulous

Yes! Mind blowingly awesome.

I too am glad that Lucy can orgasm. But this pointless 'I now have your anatomy' nonsense, is automatically chinny reckoned by every woman reading it.

We know what we are. We live it.

The female body is nothing short of miraculous. From start to finish. And the way all the elements are interwoven is truly extraordinary.

And it's potential is often undervalued, abused, denigrated and destroyed.

So this appropriation and one-upmanship is both distasteful and unsurprising.

FermatsTheorem · 03/07/2019 21:19

Prawn I think large chunks are c&p-ed from wikipedia! But yes, gish gallop and walls of text, we have definitely seen this before.

Datun · 03/07/2019 21:20

But I would question your last point. The number of nerve endings does not change the type of orgasm,

It does. Sorry.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 03/07/2019 21:20

YY. It's a horrible feeling, just feels so wrong. And you've just reminded me I'm due one as well

I'm always a little askance at someone who was, shall we say, born with a male anatomy, coming on to FWR to discuss their orgasms...

Exactly my point, except your last comment. The clitoris has the vestibular or clitoral bulbs, which are also present in the male as the penal bulb and are biological homologues. The penis is also not an isolated organ, and shares the same structure and origin as the vestibule, clitoral bulbs and crus, which have the same position and purpose in both sexes.

FermatsTheorem · 03/07/2019 21:22

BTW, what are people's favourite recipes for vulva cupcakes?

DuMondeB · 03/07/2019 21:24

That reminds me, I need a smear, a mammogram AND a coil change.

Been putting it all off while DD has been poorly, but y’all have reminded me to pay better attention to my marvellous female anatomy.
