This year, the number of murderers who are transgender is higher in the UK than the number of murder victims.

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4997224/Father-two-stabbed-death-transgender-woman.html

And then there's attempted murders and current murderers declaring themselves trans while behind bars:

Does the fact that MTFs are victimizers in these obscenely violent criminal acts more frequently than they are victims change how lawmakers will see their claims of eternal victimhood? I doubt it. How many male murderers will have to be given elective surgery at taxpayer expense and housed with women (far less likely to be in prison for violent crime) before someone takes a long, hard look at the reality of the situation?

How are the stats wrong?

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 08:57

We’ve already been through this.

nottakingthisanymore · 14/10/2018 09:02

Is there any common ground of stats we can agree on. For example those on male violence?

Ereshkigal · 14/10/2018 09:09

We’ve already been through this.

No we haven't. You have no grounds for saying that the stats are wrong. If you do, show it. If you don't, give it up.

LemonJello · 14/10/2018 09:13

Why are you back? Apart from bumping this thread- thanks for that cos it’s very compelling for our case.

What are you hoping to achieve today?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 14/10/2018 09:17

Goading more of us into wasting our time playing with it I suspect.

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 14/10/2018 09:26

By my count, said poster has had four posts deleted in this thread. Why they haven't been suspended from MN (I thought it was three deletions in a short period of time and you were out) is a mystery.

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 09:37

You have no case. The more I look into it, the less of a case you have.

FermatsTheorem · 14/10/2018 09:40

God it's like Groundhog day. F4 posted that link to the Independent pages up, it got debunked (it even contradicts the other link F4 themselves posted to the BBC fact check - the one that did get the numbers right, but omitted the crucial context that 98% of sex crimes are committed by men). Yet here we are again.

May I draw people's attention once more to Germaine Bunbury. It's a little known fact, but as well as being a feminist icon, Bunbury also had a career in STEM where she invented a device called the "virtual hide poster" button. May I suggest you install it on your machines.

With that in mind, I would like to turn to a much more interesting question - Despicable said she was identifying as an Aston Martin (fine choice, I feel) and I would like to know whether she's a Vantage or your classic Goldfinger style DB5? And if the latter, was she never tempted to wait till she was on a hair-raising mountain road and autonomously deploy the ejection button: "I'm sorry Dave Mr Bond, I just can't do that"?

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 09:42

Transgender prison inmates are more vulnerable:

Best thing since sliced bread that.

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 09:44

Btw. I’m not posting here to change your minds. You are brainwashed with false arguments and data. But so the transgender community can see that there are feminists who fight with them against discrimination and prejudice.

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 14/10/2018 09:51

Good question! I am AM-fluid. Grin

Fearandsurprise · 14/10/2018 10:01

Feminist4 Could we talk about similarities instead of differences?
Could you explain the common features between women (who are born women) and transwomen?

I am trying to explain this to someone with Austistm whI is finding all this rather distressing and no one has been able to give an explanation. Being told “because they feel like a woman” just gets the question “but what does a woman feel like”?

LangCleg · 14/10/2018 10:04

We've passed the flailing stage and entered pissing up the wall because we can stage.

The thread had some interesting and helpful rebuttals but can we just starve oxygen now, please?

FermatsTheorem · 14/10/2018 10:06

And may I say I welcome your AM-fluidity, Disrespectful.

It has also started my (cold-stuffed) brain trundling along a most pleasing if slightly surreal fantasy in which Q is female and designs all Bond's tech to undermine his sexism. I think there's a novel, or at least a fanfic, in there.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 14/10/2018 10:08

Yes. Please.

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 10:09

My brain controls my body, not the other way around. 99% of who I am is defined by my thinking and not my body.

Fearandsurprise · 14/10/2018 10:16

Feminist4 So if it is all about thoughts/feelings, what thoughts/feelings in common do a woman (born as a woman) and a transwoman have?

Hyppolyta · 14/10/2018 10:19

Feminist being female is not a case of thinking you are one.

Its a physical reality.

If you evidence once can change sex them go tell the girls having their genitals mutilated, the women stoned to death, the women bleeding in menstrual huts that they can just not be female and all is fine.

Rather than convince us, you can go save thousands of lives. Off you pop, let us know when youre done.

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 10:20

I am my brain’s perception of who I am

Feminist4 · 14/10/2018 10:21

No, because the world's perception of who we are is different. That doesn't make their perception correct

nottakingthisanymore · 14/10/2018 10:23

I will happily admit that I am confused! My brain controls my body in that it tells my feet when to walk etc but my brain is the same as any body else’s. I have a personality that has developed and changed over the years and will evolve continuously. I don’t understand how my brain makes me a woman. Genuinely don’t.

Datun · 14/10/2018 10:24

My brain controls my body, not the other way around

And a male body will have a male brain. 100% male DNA in every cell.
