There are rumblings on Twitter about MN transphobia. Mermaids mention something about a press release.

If anything comes of this I hope MNHQ will ignore.

It's news because they've just published their accounts. They appear to have had rather a lot more funding in 2016-17 than in the previous year.

Tweet and in other ways (publicly) contact all funding providers to ask them to please explain ...

This probably wants keeping an eye on (from their latest accounts):

And wouldn't you know, listed as a supporter on TELI's website are none other than Action for Trans Health

"Strategic legal cases" would you count the one where a judge ordered that a family have no contact with you a strategic legal case Mermaids? How's that working out?
