Complaint sent.

Elendon · 07/03/2017 15:29

I made that point when I complained to the BBC Terfinator

SunlessSea · 07/03/2017 15:33

Just saw this on The Independent

I thought so too. Julie Bindel mentioned her on the Sky interview, so thought I'd look her up.

microferret · 07/03/2017 15:55

thanks for posting the independent article sunless, surprised they published it, I thought all the liberal media outlets had drunk the koolaid. maybe the tide is turning?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 07/03/2017 16:17

Really glad to see the independent supporting JM

HumphreyCobblers · 07/03/2017 16:21

I have shared that article on Facebook. About time I stuck my head above the parapet a little.

BMacklin · 07/03/2017 16:39

I'm Jenni Murray!

Ollycat · 07/03/2017 16:59

Have just watched the Julie Bindel interview- love her!!

OpalIridescence · 07/03/2017 17:46

Julie Bindel handled that perfectly, I am so happy to see women refusing to be bullied on this issue.

ErrolTheDragon · 07/03/2017 18:13

Thanks, sunless - yes, excellent piece.

PacificDogwod · 07/03/2017 19:23

Why hasn't any 'transphobic' middle aged man been trolled had their job threatened?
Hear, hear! Angry

VeraGrant · 07/03/2017 19:27

I'm Jenni Murray.

About time someone faced up to the TRA bullies that have been pandered to unchallenged until now. Why is everyone so scared of getting on the wrong side of them as they spit out their misogynistic venom?

Definitely time for the xx women's fight back

2rebecca · 07/03/2017 19:46

I've filled in 2 BBC forms on this now. The first was on Sunday praising Jenni Murray as Woman's Hour presenter and saying that I hoped the BBC would appreciate that many women agreed with her. The second was a complaint today about the fact that they disciplined her for telling the truth.
As someone who does a lot of sport I am really worried about the future of women's sports.
Within a generation women could be largely eliminated from high level competitions like the Olympics with male and m to f transexual classes. Women will be left competing at club level only where the men think we belong.

Bambambini · 07/03/2017 19:57

Jesus, Kellie Maloney is defending JM and having a twitter barney with Willoughby's PR agent. How bloody surreal. I did notice that very few of IW's celebrity friends were offering much twitter support. All quite quiet really.

LumelaMme · 07/03/2017 20:09

Do we all start wearing badges with 'XX' on them as a way of saying, 'Fuck that shit: woman is a word with a real meaning'?

JapabSharted · 07/03/2017 20:18

LumelaMme
for a short while feminists were adding XX to their usernames on Twitter. When the TAs caught on, you can imagine what they started doing themselves.

The irony of them using the code for chromosomes they don't have to describe themselves whilst simultaneously screaming how transphobic it is of women to mention their chromosomes was perhaps lost on them.

It matters not what truth we invoke about ourselves that factually distinguishes us as a group from MTTs. They will appropriate it, redefine it, steal it, claim it as their own and remove it from us despite every refutation that facts and reality can provide.

The only question is when are society going to put these naughty toddlers on the naughty step. Who, other than feminists, is going to call a stop to the insanity?

Oscarandelliesmum · 07/03/2017 21:42

Great to see the independant supporting Jm. Off to send my complaint to the bbc now.

fakenamefornow · 08/03/2017 08:02

I think we should also complain to the BBC, and the police about the reporting on Crime watch.

I want to know if Lisa (can't remember last name) crimes will be recorded as have been committed by a women and where she/he will be housed, male or female prison.

EmpressoftheMundane · 08/03/2017 08:18

Agree, why doesn't this stuff get a good analysis/debate on Newsnight? With Kirsty presenting, of course.

KindDogsTail · 08/03/2017 13:17

Off to send my complaint to the bbc now
I tried one BBC contact site and got an error message. If anyone has a link, I'd be grateful for it.

seafoodeatit · 08/03/2017 15:31

I just got this response, I hope others get something better!

Dear Mrs Seafoodeatit

Thanks for contacting us regarding Jenni Murray’s comments about transgender women.

Jenni Murray is a freelance journalist and these were her own views; however she has been reminded that presenters should remain impartial on controversial topics covered by their BBC programmes.

Please be assured that your concerns have been noted for the attention of BBC management.

Thanks again for taking the time to get in touch.

Kind Regards

LumelaMme · 08/03/2017 15:34

I've just come on here to whinge about the reply I got - exactly the same as yours, sea.

I moan that they've censured her (effectively) and they write back to say, yeah, we censured her.

Bloody joke.
