She should be allowed to speak, it sounds like Cardiff just over reacted.

Although frankly this whole GG thing is amazing satire.

Does anyone have a link to the counter-petition? It's not that I attach much credence to these petitions but the Times today reported that the counter-petition had only got a few votes (well no shit Sherlock, most people don't even know about it) so it would be nice (and probably fairly easy) to change that.

The original petition has 668 sigs and the counterpetition 447. So it won't be long till it is overtaken which is a little thing but still nice.

It's interesting that the news media have focussed on how few sigs the pro-woman petition has got, when the no platforming one hasn't exactly set the world on fire, and has been going longer!

It's so sad that all feminism seems to be about now it mtf trans. It's a shame we can't somehow no platform trans activists. It's getting so boring now.

That article lost me with it's competitive "victim of oppression" claiming. Noones saying it's easy being trans, AFAIAA. Plus the use of the word cis, which I find fairly offensive tbh. The author contradicts themselves quite a lot, IMO.
