Tulisa is feminism's new hero

I think she's been incredibly brave this week. I can only imagine how mortifying and sickening it must be to think that someone you trusted has put intimate footage of you into the public domain. Full credit to her for refusing to be shamed by this. It's probably too much to hope that he's the one feeling ashamed, but he flipping well should be Angry

The hypocrisy is hilarious. Ranting at me because I dare to disagree with you and because I admit I see Tulisa as a talentless, manipulative wretch. And yet you feel it's fine to villify her ex, a man you know very little about. You'll give Tulisa the benefit of the doubt despite the fact she's told big fat lies. But you won't give that same leniency to this Purple Willy guy. Wow. Stunned and saddened.

Who else has seen the video here? I think you'll find you're in a pretty small minority Karma.

Everybody else doing it isn't an excuse for that kind of nasty behaviour.

Why would you want to watch Tulisa giving a blow job and then slag her off about it - that seems a bit odd to me. If you think her behaviour is bad, giving a BJ to her boyfriend, yours is worse for watching.

You actually watched this video but then you're slagging Tulisa off for being in it, when you were quite happy to watch her being filmed giving a blowjob. She's saying that she didn't want this video in the public realm. Even if you aren't sure who to believe from your point of view there's still a large chance (50-50) she's telling the truth, in which case you've risked taking part in the violation of her privacy.

It's almost certainly why you're giving her such a hard time on here, because you did something wrong.

Well clearly if I or anyone else wanted to watch "other peoples sex lives" we'd just view porn films! I watched the vid because I wanted to see if it was Tulisa or not (this was before her confession). After viewing the (BORING) vid I still wasn't sure if it was Tulisa or not. The only interesting thing in the vid was the purple willy. I feared for the guy's health slightly.

Looks like you really are in the minority KarmaK. You seem to be taking a really nasty perverse pleasure in the details of this situation. I'm not sure what you're doing in the 'Feminism' section, looking to educate yourself maybe? Looks like it hasn't worked very well, what a shame.

That's funny I was going to give you a bit of advice too Karma.

Don't watch porn and don't watch other people's sex videos. It'll make you a better person, because you won't have to attack the participants in order to justify what you did.

If Tulisa wants to be filmed, in a relationship giving a blow job then that's up to her.
What is worse is the comments, people desperate to watch it then calling her a skank etc. Why? For doing something many people do?

And if it is indeed an orchestrated release, then it shows we have a long way to go to get women taken seriously in showbiz. And that's sad.

This situation reminds me a bit of the Russell Brand/Jonathan Ross debacle where they phoned Georgina Bailey's grandad and left him a voicemail where JR said that RB had had sex with GB. Like the pair of overgrown giggling twits they are Hmm

I remember loads of comments at the time (including from Vince tosser Cable on HIGNFY) about how GB was 'no angel either', hadn't exactly 'come out of a convent' and 'what did she expect for shagging RB?' and suddenly a good portion of the blame was put on her shoulders. For having sex. With a consenting adult. And then getting on with her life. And never ever mentioning it to her grandparents.

I see your point but to be fair I don't think it is as clear-cut as that. I'm not sure how many of you remember the case of Anita Hill who brought a sexual harassment case against Clarence Thomas? I always believed her story and if I am perfectly honest part of my supporting Anita was due to the fact she's a serious, accomplished woman who I look up to. In all honestly I do find it hard to feel sympathy for or to take seriously somebody like Tulisa, because I view her as a talentless, unintelligent blah. I viewed her in this way long before the sex tape. I've seen her nastily tear into that young singer Misha B. And I've actually never heard an intelligent word come out of her mouth.

I should add that more than anything I've always felt Tulisa was manipulative. So it's not a stretch, to me, that she might manipulate this whole sex tape crap to suit her and to work for her.
